Customer service was excellent. The African American lady (sorry I didn't remember her name) she was kind and patient. I had to get a price check, and the Caucasian male was very attentive and fast. I love my Goodwill store.
I was really frustrated with my recent visit. There are no fitting rooms available to try on clothes, which makes shopping difficult—especially since the clothing racks were very mixed and disorganized. It took a long time to find anything. Their return policies aren't even great, with a 7-day credit-only policy (no refunds) and the requirement that it must be from the same store where the purchase was made. When I asked a cashier about it, I was told that the staff have difficulty keeping up with putting clothes away. I absolutely support inclusive hiring, but a workplace also needs a balanced team so the store can function smoothly. Some of the staff members who were available didn’t seem engaged, and a few interactions came across as dismissive, especially toward customers who speak different languages or come from different backgrounds. Overall, the store felt disorganized, and the policies in place don’t seem to be helping either customers or employees. I’m not sure who is setting the standards or procedures for Goodwill, but the new setup isn’t working well.
Stopped by this evening 3/26/25 and first thing I noticed is how dark the parking lot is. More lighting outside. Inside was a bit disorganized. A forbid empty shelfs. Never seen a good will in this condition.
I have been a regular customer here for several years , I was very disappointed this past Friday. The website states something totally different, than what the employees say. The is fourth time I have had a situation at one of your stores but this time I will bring it to public eyes 👀for over 45, years I have been a faithful customer , One of your employees would let me talk directly to the manager and allegedly called her on the phone . Two buffet chafing dishes the price was $24.99 each but the same chafing at Amazon brand new for the same . price . I just wanted to tell one manager about the price but I never had a opportunity because of the cashier. ( I will get her name a post it as well asap .)
