I came in about a week or two ago to sell clothes for the first time and had such a great experience at the Buffalo Exchange in Sherman Oaks. Maeve and Shay at the selling counter were both super friendly and easy to talk to. They walked me through what they look for and how everything works, which made the whole process feel really comfortable and low-pressure. I never felt rushed or awkward — just genuinely taken care of. It honestly made me want to go home, grab more stuff, and come back to sell again… and probably shop too. Just a really good vibe all around.

My experience selling here was so mediocre. It was some time ago but I figured to leave a review since it seems to still be a theme with this store. Unsure if its managerial policy or they let their employees halfassedly wing it. Had some decent items that I immediately saw they had interest in but there’s no sense to their buyback process. No cohesion of giving prices per item or saying buyback %. At the end of the wait (finally) I was offered 100credit for 50 cash. In what sensible buy back transaction is there a 60%+ difference in amount offered ? I deal with flipping items, reselling, collectibles etc. The process here is a joke.

Coming to sell and clean out my closet for the new season with this location use to be a joy . Now currently it’s massive wait times to sale . How do they compensate for the long wait times ??????? They rush through the process of buying your clothing . I brought in sought after items that they are currently looking for and in season and in trend to what they usually sell. My 3rd time in 2 cleaning out my closet and first time brought a fair of amount. The last two time i literally watched them skim through clothing a bare glance took from one bag into the next . Out of 10 bags they only brought 3 full bags . With a low offer . I took my clothing to the Melrose location and they brought it all and gave higher value . Has to be the buyers at the Sherman oaks location lack of buying knowledge or lack of care to buy . Anywho just be aware . Make this location your second choice. To sell to .

I brought a full car of brand-new clothes, shoes and items — many with tags and some from well-known brands. After spending the whole day loading, unloading, and paying for parking (there is almost no free parking here), they selected only 3 items and offered $4each. I paid $4 just for parking, and walked away exhausted with almost everything still in my car. Most of the high-quality and valuable items were rejected. Honestly, it’s not worth the time, effort, or parking cost. You will make far more money selling on Facebook Marketplace or online instead of bringing your items here.

This place can burn in he11 along with the workers. Why is the racks full of fast fashion and not true vintage anymore. Went to sell a huge bag of goodies and was only met with 12$ cash for 3 items. Like why do they take more shein, minga london, and any other fast fashion brands now then true authentic pieces. Don’t waste your time here. Most of the buyers have no taste, take your good items elsewhere like 2nd street down the block. They’ll definitely give you a little more bang for your buck‼️🕺🏼🎉🤏🏼
