About This Store

Goodwill Stores Phoenix: A Classic Spot for Thrift Shopping

If you’re in Phoenix and have an itch for thrift shopping, Goodwill Corporate Center is a familiar stop. This Goodwill Stores Phoenix location carries the chain’s reputation for offering a wide range of secondhand items at accessible prices. The store’s layout is straightforward, making it easy to browse through racks of used clothing, shelves of books, and a variety of household goods. Goodwill has long been known for its commitment to community support and job training through its revenues, so shopping here feels good beyond just scoring deals.

The selection at this Phoenix thrift store covers a lot of ground. Shoppers often find everything from casual and business attire to seasonal outerwear and vintage clothing tucked into the mix. Beyond clothes, there’s usually a decent spread of furniture pieces—most practical, some quirky—that can give your home a new look without breaking the bank. Housewares like dishes, lamps, and small appliances appear regularly, as well as books spanning genres and interests, which makes for fun browsing sessions.

One thing about Goodwill Stores Phoenix is how the inventory constantly changes. You might walk in one week and find vintage jackets and retro décor, and come back a few days later to discover new arrivals in home goods or electronics. That variety keeps it interesting and worth returning to. While it doesn’t focus solely on high-end vintage, the mix of everyday items alongside occasionally unique pieces makes it a dependable stop for anyone who enjoys the thrill of thrift shopping in Phoenix.

The 4th Ave Yuma Goodwill .. nasty inside that store every time I visit. See photos of junk piled in boxes as you walk in the door. Shopping carts full of stuff left up front. Only a few carts left for shoppers even. I walked right back out after returning a item for a gentleman I know. Ki called Corp. OFFICE IN Phoenix to get that man his money back. Thank you Seth for understanding not everyone lives 10 minutes from the goodwill store. I live 75 miles away and to return something in 7 days is ridiculous. Changes to the store because you cannot even try or look in boxes to see what is in them. Clean up your act Goodwill.

Today I had a very insulting experience with the manager at the El Mirage location, the white girl, not the native lady. It was so obvious that she was in a bad mood. I wanted to return a few outfits, one of which had the price tag falling off because it was attached to the middle of the right leg and I had to remove it in order to try it on. I told about why I removed the tag and she said there’s no way our employees would put it on that spot. I told her I wasn’t lying and it was placed there. She refused to do the return and out of frustration I said I was going to post her nasty attitude with me on my FB page. She kicked me out of the store. I went to another location in Surprise and the manager there was so polite and helpful and did the return no problem. I am requesting an investigation and correction of behavior for that manager. What she did was so humiliating to me and made me cry.

"Goodwill" or "Good Profit"? For an organization that claims to be a public charity to take donated items and try to sell them at above retail prices is so baffling. I guess they've got to afford their CEO's salary of 10 times the average American's income. It seems to me like Goodwill is just another one of these slush fund "public charities" that needs their books audited, and their nonprofit status reviewed.

You have an employee (large loud man) at 91st ave and Northern screaming very loudly at a customer. He is yelling at him because he thinks he’s a thief which he may be but customers are leaving the store and I’m thinking he should be calling the police not causing a huge scene and scaring your customers away. Maybe some training is needed on the proper way to handle theft. This is how we end up with shootings or stabbings in the valley. This is the type of situation that turns into violence. I sure hope that didn’t happen after we left cause there were children In the store. Please coach your associate, someone’s life isn’t worth whatever this boy may have been trying to steal.

Can all of your stores stop over purging all the tags that that go on sale for the week? I understand the reason it's done but OVER purging the tags before the sale week. Y'all a greedy company. I have such a hard time finding anything that is on sale. Also, your employees don't give donors any tax credit or a discount for donations anymore. I donated clean baby items twice in different locations, and was told they don't have any flyer to hand out to donors but honestly the employee has such an attitude for even asking a question. I won't donate anymore but I'll go some where else while nothing changes with goodwill. And stop rounding off my total.
