About This Store

Goodwill Stores Mesa: A Secondhand Stop Worth Visiting

Goodwill Stores Mesa is a standout if you’re into thrift shopping around town. This Mesa thrift store is part of the larger Goodwill chain, which is known for its mission-driven approach — they not only sell used clothing and household items but also help fund job training programs and community support services. So when you shop here, you’re doing more than just scoring a deal; you’re supporting something bigger.

Inside, you’ll find a well-curated mix of secondhand goods. Their racks often feature everything from casual wear to more vintage-style clothing, making it worthwhile for a range of tastes. Beyond clothes, the furniture selection is decent for a thrift store — think chairs, tables, and occasional quirky pieces that can add character to an apartment or house. There are also plenty of housewares like lamps, kitchen gadgets, and linens, as well as a good rotation of books and media. The inventory changes regularly, so visiting every few weeks can pay off.

Goodwill Stores Mesa keeps things organized, making the thrift shopping experience less overwhelming than some secondhand stores. It’s a reliable spot for locals who want to refresh their wardrobe or home without breaking the bank. Plus, the donation center on site means you can drop off items easily, which keeps the cycle of reuse going strong in the community. It’s a solid pick if you want a mix of vintage and everyday used clothing and home goods in Mesa.

Drop whatever is in front of you And head to this Good Will ASAP. We found Indiana glass, dps depression era diamond shaped glassware, and anchor heritage from the early 1900s. We found an A H. Chip bowl that was an amber honey glass. It's like no one checked here. No one knew. I recommend stopping by because the employees and customers here are not buying the glassware.

I went during a family visit and scored an item that'll help with my back issues when walking for long periods. I'll definitely will be back with my next visit. Only issue I had was the cashier was just a smidge rude. They could of asked/called for another associate instead of raising their voice saying they were the only cashier and couldn't leave the area. That's understandable but not the attitude. Either way like I said great store I will be back. Very nice prices........

Store was cleaner than last time. Thier books are priced higher than any other goodwill. Even higher than in Scottsdale. Many items of men's clothing was tagged with the wrong size.

If I could give zero stars for today's visit, I certainly would. There is a heavy set Hispanic lady that works there. She is as rude as they get. I asked her a simple question today, and she looked at me like I was stupid and didn't answer. She looked very unhappy when I walked in the door, but my interaction with her definitely let me know that she is a very unhappy person, unwilling to help others. I am not the only complainant on here about her. Why do you keep such a vile employee??? I will not shop here if I walk in and see her.

Very rude employee working checkout today. Spoke rudely under her breath when I ask to use the student discount. I’m an older student, she assumed I was lying. Showed her my student ID. She said loudly to the customer behind me as I was walking out. Are you a student too? GW’s have progressively down over the years. If you have overpriced USED items donated, you definitely need to have better customer service.
