I am convinced the reviews are only bad because people want to keep it a little secret due to how their product selection is superior to the other nearby Goodwill's. Compared to Graham and Puyallup Goodwill, this location is larger, but also better selection not only for quality but variety. It also has an extensive men's section for clothes whereas the other locations are lacking. And they are typically running 2 color sales whereas sometimes the other location only run one. Yes, the location around the store is sketchy and not in the best part of town, but that shouldn't stop you from trying out this store location. I will say they have done a decent job organizing the place and labeling things very clearly. Their staff is really kind as well. The one main gripe I ha e is that their prices are insane on some items. They had some kids toys priced at nearly retail prices even though theya are missing prices, scratched or broken. I even saw some plush priced at $15. Whoever does their prices is deiftnely on something...
I was half tempted not to even go here because of all the vagrants around the building on the outside. didn't look it safe to park at but I did anyways and it's mainly women stepping this store location lots of clothes I mean lots and lots and lots of clothes
Hey Liesel! Maybe try not to be so accusatory when the pricers in the back clearly don’t know what their stuff is… Came in here earlier and found a bag full of about 10 Tokidoki Mermicorn keychains for $13.99. It was CLEARLY not a Goodwill ziplock bag with a hole to hang up (you know the kind) but a random large plastic bag that was closed with adhesive. When I found this BAG😱 it was about halfway open. I only wanted ONE of them so I figured I’d go up and ask if I was able to buy ONE INDIVIDUAL KEYCHAIN since the bag wasn’t even taped/stapled/zipped shut. This Liesel person immediately accused someone (me) of stuffing them all together in one bag?!? IN CASE SHE DOESN’T KNOW, there is an extremely visible security camera taking footage of you RIGHT in the toy aisle, where I found the freaking bag. She really suggested I’d do something so stupid. I tell her I found it that way and only want to purchase one anyhow. She beings to take more than half of them out and DEMONSTRATES to me how they should fit in the bag, then closing it…😂 IGNORING anything I’m saying and repeatedly telling me how they couldn’t have POSSIBLY been put out like that… All the while the Security guard is listening and I feel as tho I’m about to be arrested for such crimes😭💀 Anyway she sold the one to me for $3.99 coming out to $5 somehow and yeah, there’s my rant
Very disappointed. Way overpriced to the point where I started checking prices just to have a guess and giggle. Case in point. It was pink and purple tag discount month and not one thing out of the MANY tags I checked were pink or purple. NOT ONE in any aisle. Goodwill has become very much for profit and that’s extremely disconcerting .
Customer service is friendly. But store smells like a toilet. I would not recommend coming here at all. It needs to be sanitized and I don’t know what else to do. It just does not smell good at all. I couldn’t even speak to the person without covering my nose.
