Thrift store selling clothing, books & housewares; profits go to the AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
I stopped by here to donate a suitcase and went inside to do a little shopping. What a nice store! Clothes were organized by color, which was a great presentation. The store was clean and well organized and it didn't have the typical bad thrift store smell. I bought some very gently used children's board books at a great price. Great donation and shopping experience, I would definitely recommend and return here for another visit.
Great place to donate and then to shop, shop, shop. Lots if fun stuff inside -- housewares, cocktail glasses, dvds, clothes if all different styles, shoes, and some furniture. Check them out before shopping retail -- all prifits go to a good cause!! ❤️
I've read the reviews and plan on stopping in over this Memorial Day weekend. I'm making a donation and expect to make some purchases, as well. Just hoping to find impeccable customer service, not the poor experience others have posted. I'll post an update after my visit. Wish me luck as I'm coming from quite a distance. UPDATE: Well, I was completely impressed with my entire visit. The donation entrance was laid out perfectly...so easy! The wide selection of real treasures completely blew me away! The cleanliness and organization off the charts! The staff was very welcoming! The prices were so affordable, didn't even care to ask for a Memorial Day sale price. You better believe I'll be back with more donations and more purchases! Congratulations Out of the Closet!
this is a great thrift store. made me a little bummed though that the only thing i was interested in was on a mannequin, and they said i wasn’t allowed to buy it. I feel like any effort to support them would be beneficial, hope they can change the policy.
I visited this thrift store because they provide a free clinic for STD and HIV testing, which is a great resource for the community. The person who checked me in for testing had a rude attitude and wasn’t welcoming at all. While I appreciate the services offered, I feel the staff could be more professional and friendly to create a better experience for visitors. While you wait for your number to be called, you can browse through the store. They have a wide selection of clothes, books, furniture, media, and housewares at very affordable prices. The store itself was clean, organized, and easy to navigate. However, my experience with the clinic staff was disappointing.
