If you’re exploring thrift shopping in Miami, Goodwill – Miami/Bird Road is one of those spots that locals often visit to dig through a solid range of secondhand items. This Miami thrift store has that familiar, community-driven vibe you appreciate in independent shops. It’s not just a place to drop by for used clothing; you’ll find furniture pieces, housewares, books, and even some vintage items mixed in. The selection shifts constantly, which keeps the experience fresh every time.
What’s nice here is the balance between everyday basics and more unique finds. The clothing racks usually have a mix of casual and dressier pieces, plus some vintage threads if you look carefully. Furniture is hit-or-miss, but when it shows up, it’s worth a look for people furnishing apartments or hunting for quirky home accents. The housewares section includes everything from kitchen utensils to decorative items, making it a good spot for thrifters who like to refresh their space without splurging.
Goodwill – Miami/Bird Road feels like a part of the neighborhood. The staff are familiar with regulars and keep the shelves organized, which makes the hunt easier and more enjoyable. For anyone who enjoys Miami thrift store runs, this location offers a real secondhand shopping experience that’s a bit more laid-back than big chain thrift stores. You have to know where to look but I’ve found many name brands like Ralph Lauren & DVF, here for under $10 - Shopping at thrift stores is earth conscious decision & budget friendly but it’s also the same item many times still with originals tags.
This place is amazing!! Love the prices and how organized is everything. Costumer services is great. I was able to find great items and the decorations of the store were beautiful. I will recommend this store to everyone in the Southwest area. 100/100!!!!
Could be organized better, wish all second handstores organized by color. As this goodwill has a large selection and can feel quite overwhelming. In general the quality of clothes at thrift stores has gone down, but was still able to find two vintage items that I liked. There isn't a big knick-knack and dishware section, but they did have a nice kid's section. Overall, a typical goodwill and a good way to end your outing if you've stop by the pricer vintage stores on the same road.
This is the WORST good will I’ve ever gone to. Not only is everything over priced I swear every time I come in here I buy NOTHING because everything here is garbage or not worth buying. I’ve come here 20 times and I keep leaving with nothing or 1 thing I’m literally going insane
Last Sunday around the time the store was closing, I was at the front of the line to pay and another customer boldly cut in front of me. Since both cashiers were busy with other customers, I waited for one to be free while the line cutter waited at the counter. When the first cashier became free, the line cutter slid his large merchandise towards the cashier, however I advised the cashier that I was next. I also told the cashier the man with the merchandise had cut in front of me previously. At that point the line cutter started calling me all kinds of cuss words in Spanish in a threatening manner. He kept insulting me and threatening me until I had paid and step out of the store! And, even then, through the glass he kept at it! Good Lord! What did the cashiers or the store staff do to assist?? Absolutely nothing! They froze.. never moved or opened their mouths! Unbelievable, the staff was so useless! I've been contemplating if I should sue the store..
