Update 10/2025…Format has changed dramatically and no longer has the “boutique” feel. Success and popularity I feel have caused this downgrade. Folks are still nice. But the quality and vibe have gone down and the store feels more like an unorganized and ordinary thrift store. I did score a new with tags J Crew linen blazer for half price at $7. I miss the old format and hope management is listening. From 2 years ago…I just recently got into thrifting after watching YouTube creators like Alyssa Beltempo and understanding more about how good it can be to purchase previously loved clothes. This Goodwill Boutique is in our neighborhood and people “in the know” line up before it opens for the latest stock. I’ve definitely scored by being patient and visiting frequently. Leather boots made in Argentina for $15, a Theory blazer $30 that retails for over $150 new, cashmere hoodie for $30 that retails for $80 used on Poshmark, an awesome midi cardigan new with tags for $20. The folks working there are attentive but leave you to your shopping for the most part. I wish I could try on clothes but I’ve managed. I’ve been thrilled with what I’ve found, and look forward to the next visit!

We drove 2 hours and I had to use the restroom. I ran in excited to finally get there only to be told, i had to use the restroom somewhere else. Also we would have to drive 2 hours back in order to return an item since no dressing rooms.

This used to be one of my favorite stops to checkout every time I was in West Portal. Now they've lost the great decor, windows & set-up it had. They have too much stuff crammed in & most of it was overpriced & not organized or clean! I found stains on quite a few things. I thought the last time I was here was bad but, no this was worse. Not sure I'll be back, what a shame to have lost this treasured location after so many years!

Used to be favorite boutique. No more! The store has changed their interior layout, no more decorations for no reasons. Same items but they look cheap , unorganized on the shelves. It look like a near closing business. Significant reduce shopping satisfaction. So sad!

Selection has shifted to less desirable clothes, more like those found at regular goodwill locations. Price and size tags have been off a few times lately. Prices have gone up and are less competitive with other resale shops and some bug box stores. Had more problems with staff at check out recently, including being charged the donation fee without being asked - told it is a “tax” which is incorrect in a few ways. Generally speaking this is no longer a boutique as much as it is a clothes and shoes only goodwill. definitely miss having the dressing room.
