Awesome friendly staff and great job fairs
How does a business that runs off donations try to charge over $500 for a piece of jewelry I can make for $60, also all of their bundles like legos etc appear to have been scalped by employees and they only post basic pieces
This store is a rip off. They mark their donated items up 50% Don't buy anything from goodwill auctions. This store doubles the price for shipping. $20 shipping for a pair of shoes. From Cali to PA shipping price is $11. I just sent something to SoCal yesterday. They were also rude via customer support through goodwill auction.com
Goodwill customers beware of these two ladies they assaulted another lady at a goodwill store and the goodwill staff didn’t do anything about it. All over a toy that the lady had already paid for !
Shame on Goodwill SoCal. The so called points of contact for escalation related to a bad experience in a retail store were useless to say the least. I feel they are not there to help anyone, so not sure why they are even identified as points of contact. Joe Suarez, the head of security, who was very difficult to reach by phone, and after persistent attempts to speak with him, was rude, uncouth in his communication, and sounded like a bully full of himself. His tone was threatening and unpleasant. He does not deserve to be the head of security for such a large organization. In addition, Shavone Turner, who is the director for customer engagement seems to play games by postponing and procrastinating any action on her part for months while citing illogical and vague excuses. There are many truly hard working and qualifying professionals that could be filling these high paying positions.who would actually do their jobs instead of posturing.
