Compassion Thrift Store in Little Rock is one of those spots where the community really shines through. It’s an independent thrift store that’s deeply connected to the local vibe, and you can tell by the way it’s stocked and run. If you enjoy thrift shopping, this is a place where the selection feels curated by someone who knows what locals want and appreciates vintage and secondhand goods as much as you do.
Walking in, you’ll find a diverse range of items. There’s plenty of used clothing, from everyday wear to some vintage pieces that stand out if you’re hunting for something with character. Beyond apparel, they carry furniture that’s both functional and full of personality—think worn-in chairs and unique tables. Housewares are another strong suit here, with everything from kitchen gadgets to decorative accents that can add a bit of charm to your home without breaking the bank. If you like to browse through books, Compassion Thrift Store has a decent selection that often includes some interesting finds.
What makes this Little Rock thrift store special is its local character. It’s not a massive chain where everything looks the same—here, the inventory reflects real people’s donations and the ebb and flow of the community. That randomness is exactly what makes each visit rewarding. Whether you’re outfitting your apartment or just looking for a few vintage touches, Compassion Thrift Store brings that familiar thrift store experience with a welcoming local spirit that’s hard to come by elsewhere in Little Rock.

Excellent Community resources from a VERY dedicated staff. This location is owned and operated by the Compassion Unity Church despite the church next door being labeled as a Presbyterian Church. If you are in need of high quality equipment, or to share, there's not a better shop this side of University! Check them out today, because as far as I know they currently operate only on Saturday's, so if you are looking to give gifts for your loved ones, or perhaps treat yourself, please wear your Sunday best, because The Harvest Church down the street is holding services today in honor of the fallen. Be respectful in the neighborhood, because this area is not only rich in culture, but rich in moral character. We take care of each other here, and 🚭 🍻 or 🔪 are NOT ALLOWED! Period! There is enhanced security, so if you are nefarious, expect trouble because of the Winter Break that began on Friday. Again it's open til 5PM. Be sure to leave a tip, because whatever vibe you put out will surely come back to you in ways ✨
