Hello, I received a wonderful two piece leather Grey couches yesterday. I got there at 8 am, a gal was there, she went above and beyond for me, I wish I got her name. She had a short haircut and really was a go getter; through out the place. I purchase my couches and requested I pick them up after work. When we arrived ,with a truck around 545 pm, there was no one in the back for pick up re: furniture. I peaked my head in there and said hello. The short, aggressive rough sounding man yelled at me and said you cant be back here. I explained no one was back here and I saying " hello". Well, he was a very rude unkind employee who needs to be educated on customer service. The manager then came out, very upbeat, seemed pretty new, but completed my purchase, and ended wit a better experience. Kudos to the two employees that were so positive and made me feel welcomed.
Goodwill Thunderbird is a well-organized and convenient location. While I haven't purchased anything here, I recently made several donations. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the donation process smooth and efficient. The store is packed with plenty of usable items, indicating a wide selection for shoppers. I dropped off a lot of great things and was impressed by the overall operation. It's a great location for both donating and finding quality secondhand items.
Clean, had okay inventory for furniture. Great selections for denim for children. Found some nice name brand shirts and jackets. Got the kids enough stuff for summer for under $200 for five kids.
I’ve been to a lot of Goodwill locations, and this one was honestly disappointing. The quality of items was really poor, with very little worth buying. Most of what was on the floor looked worn out or picked through, and it didn’t feel like anything was being restocked with care. The store itself was also dirty, which made the experience worse. Even the bathroom was unclean, and that’s a basic expectation for any retail space. It gave the impression that upkeep and cleanliness just aren’t a priority here. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff were actually friendly and polite, which is more than I can say for some other Goodwill locations. Unfortunately, good customer service can’t make up for poor inventory and an unclean store. I wouldn’t go out of my way to shop at this location again
