I am responding to Ms. Rose who posted about her visit on 7/1/25 where she encountered some “loud teenagers”- my son was the one she claims was disrespectful……my son posts content on TikTok that he films at Goodwill. He has been doing this for the past year with permission from and in collaboration with Goodwill International. Today as they were filming, an elderly shopper told them they were being too loud and they needed to calm down. She was quite upset, so my son tried to diffuse the situation and suggested they go speak with the manager, as Ms. Rose stated. The lady was very angry and quite agitated, and was asked to leave the store. This group of kids are the best of the best. They have been in my home many times and have never, ever been disrespectful. They bring a lot of laughter and joy to many people with what they do up there and they are loved by many in our community. It is sad that someone who must have had a bad day would find a problem with kids who are singing in a Goodwill store. So maybe next time just take a deep breath and think about that. And just try and spread some happiness out there. Thank you to Goodwill Brook Highland for the kindness you have shown to my son and this great group of kids. Much love to you all!❤️
good selection of furniture and cloths, a few toys and books organization can be improved.
This was a really great story they really had a lot of great stuff, lot of nice stuff it was really great I enjoyed it and bought a lot of stuff there today and I go to thrift stores all the time so it's a lot of new finds a lot of great things.. So the store was very clean. Really great experience
So I used to be a thrift store junkie, but in the last 4 to 5 years, I haven't shopped like that! 😆 Nevertheless, I saw a preview of the opening of the Good Will store in Brookhighland on Fox 6 news and decided that I would check it out! It's a great location! It has an adequate amount of merchandise. The customers seems to be moving around finding items and satisfied with their purchase, as the checkout line was quite long. 🙂 I did see a couple of BRAND name products items in the store. The store was very clean and well organized. As you enter the store, there is a sign with a QR code you can scan to get a 25% discount. I'm not sure if this is on certain days, but do remember to look for the sign to the left when you walk into the store! I do not live in the area; however, I will pop in every now and again to see what I can find!😊
Truly the most horrible Goodwill I've ever visited!! Absolutely nothing of value is put out onto the floor! It's gotten more and more corrupt at so called "thrift" stores, as they collect valuable items for free, make a profit, but then GREED sets in and instead of setting REASONABLE low prices so that the disadvantaged populations can have a chance to have something nice, they PRICE GOUGE items of any real value and/or list them either at ridiculous prices or sell them online for even higher profits!!! Absolutely disgusting. At this particular store, you will get garage sale type items, at best! The 10 cent value type, marked up. Don't waste your time. I am pretty much finished with Goodwill in general, as I believe it is a massive FOR PROFIT SCAM. I now only shop at Mom and Pop thrift stores that keep their prices reasonable and don't hoard the good stuff for themselves or resell it on eBay.
