Always a treat to find a local goodwill at home or while traveling. I never leave a goodwill empty handed. From slightly used or worn designer clothing, books, home accessories and furnishings, kitchen ware items, etc. As an interior designer and antique dealer, I must say goodwill has always had items to make me very successful at what I love doing. This new Goodwill is the neatest, most inviting thrift store in Birmingham. It isn’t huge, but has a decent selection of clothing, accessories, household items, books, and furniture. I found some mens shirts, tools, and Christmas decor on my last visit.

Shelves were pretty empty. Most of the employees were in the break room. DVD prices were low($.99) but other prices too high.

Why did they change this location to a clearance center???? Everything in the store is old, faded, and stretched out. It’s like they don’t give a poop about the community. This was my absolute favorite Goodwill in the three neighboring counties and now it is trash! Looks like Goodwill only cares about the bottom line and not helping the community or the people in it!! Shame shame shame!!!!

Blessed because of a store policy that is a mess. All sales are final but broken items are sold without QA screening. They wouldn't give me store credit. So I had to buy a similar item again but I got a 4pc luggage set instead of 1pc that wouldn't stand. Buyer beware QA all items before purchase. Charity is a good deed but equitable exchange in commerce is the law of the land.
