Hands down my fav Oxfam shop in London. It’s big, clean and cheap - you can find some really good bargains from here (once saw Lululemon bralette/top for £1.99) and it’s a pleasure to rummage through the racks as they are clearly labeled by size so you don’t need to waste time and energy to go through absolutely every garment to find your size. Staff can be a bit rude/stand offish sometimes but I just ignore that, pay for my stuff and leave. 👋

It’s a bank holiday Monday and most Oxfams are closed. I saw on Google this one was possibly open, so I phoned up and asked and indeed they were open. So I loaded my bike up and cycled for 30 mins to get there and upon arriving was told they’re not accepting donations today. The reason I wanted to donate to Oxfam was that my goods were high value, Oxfam do Gift Aid, and I’d already taken the low value stuff to the recycling centre. So now my new and nearly new designer clothes are with a sketchy charity shop down the road. Seems a bit nuts not to accept donations on a bank holiday, my local recycling centre is usually closed on a Monday but opens especially on Bank Holidays presumably because people like to have a clear out.

Nonchalant staff. Opening times change according to their mood. They take donations whenever they feel like it. Try avoiding coming in with heavy bags as probably they won’t take them.

Just rang on Xmas eve to give some donations and very rude customer service! She literally said no before I can finish and slammed the phone down! I called back and she didn’t bother answering
