Very good Oxfam charity shop. Good section with paintings and artwork . Always a good selection of books and clothes. Near High Street Kensington tube station, on the circle and district lines. Friendly staff . Good donations of interesting stuff coming in all the time.
My memory might not be totally Tickety Boo on the fact that many years ago @ 2014 I was lucky enough to get my hands on a second hand ski jacket from this store. It was 🍋🟩 lime green and wonderfully warm. In those days I could comfortably squeeze into a medium to large size without much difficulty at all. So thanks to Oxfam for helping me to be capable of affording a good winter ❄️ jacket.
I love a thrift and keen on those that are for a cause. I knew there was another charity ship across the street so I was happy to browse PRO: - Good selection of clothes - Amount of donated items was a good number - Located near other great Kensington shopping CON: - Expensive. Had my eye on a few things like a Banana Republic coat. However, at £20 I couldn’t do it with the seams coming apart and snags SUMMARY: Charity shops need the money, true. But overpriced goods won’t help them get there
The shop is fine, not great, but the cashier (Taiwo) cannot be any ruder than that. She spoke in a very inappropriate manner to the other visitors and me.I had to ask her 3 times for a bag and she was treating my request like a brand new information every time. Eventually I have got a random bag from under the counter.
