About This Store

Goodwill Stores Mesa: A Go-To Spot for Thrift Shopping

If you’re into thrift shopping and find yourself in Mesa, the Goodwill Store and Donation Center is a solid spot to check out. Goodwill Stores Mesa is part of a well-known nationwide chain that’s been around for decades, famous for turning donations into affordable used clothing, furniture, and household goods. What makes this location stand out is how consistent the selection is, with a steady stream of secondhand items cycling through daily.

Walking in, you’ll notice a wide range of things—clothing racks packed with everything from casual wear to some vintage pieces, shelves holding books, and housewares that cover anything from kitchen gadgets to décor. It’s not unusual to stumble on some gently used furniture here, too. The variety is broad, which makes Goodwill Stores Mesa a great choice if you’re outfitting an apartment or just hunting for a quirky vintage find.

Goodwill Stores Mesa is also known for supporting local workforce development, so every purchase feels like it’s doing a bit more than just saving you money. If you’re after sustainable shopping or just want to give secondhand a go, this spot really covers the bases. You can drop off donations as well, which keeps the cycle going and helps the store constantly refresh its inventory.

For anyone who appreciates the thrill of digging through racks or browsing shelves in search of used clothing or unique household pieces, Goodwill Stores Mesa offers a reliable thrift store experience. It’s a steady spot with plenty of variety, and it’s worth adding to your Mesa thrift store rotation.

Quiet store . Little bit less in the electronics area than most stores. Nicer than average furniture. Clean location.

these guys (him and his brother) are here everyday…tried just getting away from them because im annoyed their always at my local thrift and the employees are “sweethearting” them. But eventually they end up coming to all the same thrift stores in go to avoid them…and leave when they know the employees wont work for him only. Its unfair that dudes like this are sitting at thrift stores this all day like its a 9-5 on their phones the entire time waiting for new stuff to come out meanwhile the employees are working a 9-5 in the back and putting items out worth a quarter sometimes what they are making…How is it fair realistically. These guys need a life. Sorry. Prices are getting outtahand and theres practically nothing of my interest anytime i shop. The employees need more pay and an incentive to want to put out good quality items for people. Goodwill is only allocating so much resources to this store while trying to fund multiple operations theres so much money their making either record profits but do the employees make more and if so whats the margin… theres no resources being out towards the people correctly…making finding anything impossible and if i ever am here and do get the chance to see some new things, these two guys in the video have pushed me outta the way to grab the new items off the rack just to “beat me to it”. Its very disturbing that these guys cant be civil to other customers shopping peacefully. I personally talked to others in the community just outta curiosity and these guys have been getting into altercations with other customers too. These guys are Known for being nice to employees and sweethearting but mean to other thrifters. Some will say sucks to suck but i feel that me and others like me have seen these guys and have been fed up. Not really cool to be mean to people just tryna shop and talk to new those faces around. And you only make conversation to the employees when it benefits him. People need to talk to their community again, not for materialistic goods. This Thrift store and their employees are nice and i dont mind the prices sometimes although i think they should be aware of “sweethearting” these guys have a slight cause in it not being fair to everyone else, and everyone can see it when they are at every thrift in mesa and waiting all day and somehow “coincidentally” the new stuff is always there when they are there.

So the staff here really dont care about their customers. Our little one needed to use the restroom and we where told to head to the back. While I was checking out with our few items the staff was like there's no one to send back to unlock the bathroom. And their response was my lady and our son could come back and ask again. After confronting them about this and then trying to send the person helping us on a bathroom break themselves. There's no sense of urgency or care about their customers.

I entered on this Wednesday morning, Store not busy. Nobody at checkout, the cashier was refilling plastic bags. I greeted and nicely asked the cashier if the restrooms were locked. She said yes. I smiled and asked if I could get access before I shop. She said no, that they were short handed. Again, nobody was in line. No customer was being helped. I've been to MANY Goodwills all around the valley and the cashiers always leave the cash to unlock, or radio to the back for unlocking. I don't believe that she didn't have time or resources to help me. I left and said I'll shop elsewhere. ✨️
