Best goodwill I have been to in terms of organization and cleanliness 🙌 the staff was friendly and was able to score some great deals! All the clothing were in the right section based on size! Love it and highly recommend it
The staff at this location is nice and it is clean inside. However, pricing felt misleading and inconsistent. There was a sign stating that shorts were $5.50, but when I brought a pair to the register, I was told that because they were jean shorts, they had to be priced at $10 — the same as regular jeans. Additionally, children’s pajamas were displayed together as a set, but at checkout I was told the tops and bottoms had to be charged separately so 4.99 a piece. If items are hung and presented as a set, they should be priced that way. Also, 10 dollars for a used set of Target brand pajamas is unrealistic. The price gouging is truly disappointing, especially for a thrift store that is supposed to serve the community. There are much more affordable thrift stores in the area. I hope they reconsider their pricing policies and improve transparency for customers.
Ok so normally the goodwill is pretty good right, a good place for a college student on a budget to shop for clothes ya know? The tag of the week deals are great, how I understood them was that it's the tag color thats half off no matter what throughout the store. We'll, I went to checkout woth only hoping to spend around $15 or so, and ended up spending like $25, a whole extra 10 which is a lot for someone only getting payed around 600 a month and has other bills to pay. I brought it up and the girl at the register today said that it was not the green tag but the plastic piece holding the tag to the clothes that was the color of the week. But like, in the past it had been the tag that says medium/small/large/price ect?? Like gorl.... what? Is this new or did I just not understand it correctly? Idk... I feel like I gotta be more wary now of my shopping at this location - and im sorry I dont want to be a Karen but like.... yea.
I think this Goodwill changed the price at the register. I picked up a couple of items at this Goodwill this afternoon. I got a Carhartt overall from a new rack. The overall had a yellow string with a price tag of $14.99 (Yellow is today’s color for new arrivals.) Then, I found a pair of Carhartt women’s pants with a blue string (regular price) on their regular rack. When I got to the cashier to pay for the items, the cashier said that she needs to price (!) the Carhartt pants. I was surprised because the pants were clearly not a new arrival item, did not have a special price tag, and were supposed to be sold for the regular price. When I gave the pants to the cashier, the pants had the aforementioned blue string. But when she showed the pants to her manager, the blue string was gone. Questioning my own sanity, I asked the cashier if the blue string was attached, she said “yes”, but both she and manager told me that the price for all Carhartt items is $14.99. I did not buy them. 5 min before I walked up, a women/customer yelled at the cashier or manager about Nike shoes and something about a blue label. I’ve been Goodwill customer for years. I have never experienced something like this before. I’m not coming back to this store. There are 3 church thrift stores, Salvation Army store, s couple of private thrift stores and Re-Tail thrift store around. They have great items for great prices and their employees/volunteers are actually appreciate customers
Went in to find a formal dress. Tag was red but they refused to honor the price saying if it was the plastic part, that’s what’s honored. I know it’s goodwill, but still if they ran out of a pink tag do something else or don’t put it out.
