If you’re into thrift shopping around Cleveland, Goodwill Outlet Cleveland is a spot worth checking out. As part of the Goodwill Stores Cleveland chain, this location carries the same reputation for solid secondhand goods that the chain is known for nationwide. Goodwill has long been a go-to for folks looking to stretch their budgets while supporting community programs. At the outlet, you’ll find a wide range of used clothing, vintage pieces, housewares, furniture, and even books.
The vibe here is different from your average thrift store—more of a warehouse feel where you can really poke around. It’s less about curated racks and more about the thrill of the dig. If you’re patient, you can score some interesting vintage finds or classic furniture pieces that add character to your home. The clothing section includes everything from everyday basics to some unexpected gems, especially if you like hunting for unique styles or retro fashion.
Goodwill Stores Cleveland outlets are also great for those who want to shop sustainably. Instead of buying new, you’re giving pre-loved items a second chance, which feels good and does good for the environment. Plus, the variety changes all the time, so a visit this week might look completely different from one next month. It’s a spot where every trip can bring a new discovery—whether that’s a quirky lamp, a stack of well-loved books, or just the perfect jacket you didn’t know you needed.

Long-standing nonprofit chain with a range of pre-owned clothing, housewares & more.
Very chaotic as the outlets are but it's the kind of chaos I live for. The staff is very nice and if you stay long enough and sort hard enough you'll find treasures you didn't even know you wanted or needed. Everyone should experience the goodwill outlets at least once. You won't regret it.
Tip: Google Maps will take you around back to their loading dock. The main entrance is right off St. Clair . First time at "the bins". Had a great experience. They made an announcement every 30 min that new bins will be brought out. Everyone was civilized and patient and eagerly awaited the new bins of treasures. My daughter and I came home with a few fall wardrobe staples, all for under $10. Cashier was friendly and store was clean. Glad we brought gloves. The bins with housewares had some sharp items. Will definitely be back!
Went on a rainy Saturday around noon. A decent number of people. It is a very clean store, well stocked and the employees were nice. They change the bins in one area about every 30 mins. I wish you could just shop on the one side while they switch the bins. I did find some great clothes.
I have been going to this location for over a year. They are obviously removing almost anything of real value. Tons of tagged items that didn't sell in stores. Electronics are dumped in bins and usually end up broken when they hot the floor. Used to be much better. Its a shame that a place that gets stuff for free can't put out better items for sale rather than run them through auctions where they don't sell because they are overpriced.
Corporate needs to do a full evaluation of this location. I’m writing this review as myself and 30 other customers are waiting for new bins. We have been waiting 2 hours, they are supposed to bring new product out each 30 minutes as listed on their website. This is outrageous. Aside from this. The minimum wage employees & greedy managers are instructed to set aside anything they deem valuable for the e commerce site, leaving the valued customers with stained ragout clothing, broken electronics and goodwill store leftovers. I know how it operates in the back, this is an e commerce warehouse with a retail outlet attached. I also know how the operation of filling the actual bins up with product goes. It does NOT take any longer than 30 minutes to fill 14 bins (7 soft, 7 hard) I have been coming here since opening day. It’s never been this bad quality wise and time wise. I watched an employee from the doors go through bins that were about to roll out and grab all of the hats (???????) to pull so they can research and put on their website. I understand goodwill has a mission they require money for but it doesn’t make sense to pull items of value when customers here are willing to buy more stuff if they’re finding desirable items. And on another note. I know for a fact they are hiding items in the bins for customers to find in certain areas of the bin. I’ve watched it happen quite often and I know the workers are all in on it. I’ve been coming here since opening day. I hope these issues can be fixed but I have no issue going back to Canton outlet where these issues aren’t present.
