I came here to sell clothing I no longer wanted. First time and Selling was very easy. I scanned the QR and filled out the simple questions. I waited about 25 mins. The girl with blonde hair was very nice and welcoming. She explained the process and policy. They ended up buying a few of my items based off fashion, brand, and condition of the items. Over all I always have a great experience and always find unique clothes and accessories. 100% recommend.

First time in buffalo exchange in a while so I’m sure things have changed. Thought prices were pretty high, but they still have some items on sail. Lots of racks and selection. Staff was very nice I did find a vintage wool hat for $12 so I feel that was a good deal

Don’t sell here: I’ve been to Buffalo Exchange twice hoping to sell quality clothing, and both experiences were frustrating. The first time, I brought in a full bag of high-quality suits in excellent condition, including designer pieces, and they only selected one item from the entire batch. The second time, I brought women’s clothing that was new, in style, and some still had tags, but they declined *everything* because it wasn’t exactly what they were looking for. The most disappointing part is that they won’t even donate the items they don’t accept. You’re required to take everything back home with you, which defeats the purpose if you’re trying to responsibly clear out clothing. There’s another store down the block that will donate anything they don’t buy, which makes the process much easier and more community-friendly. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend selling here.

I wasted an entire hour of my life at Brooklyn Exchange only to be told no on every single pair of brand-new shoes I brought in — shoes that were clean, unworn, modern, and in excellent condition. The explanation? Suddenly everything had to be “vintage.” What made this experience even more frustrating (and honestly insulting) was seeing the exact same shoe styles already on their floor, just in different colors and in noticeably worse condition than mine. Scuffed, worn, visibly damaged — yet somehow those were acceptable, but my pristine pairs weren’t. The staff kept throwing out vague, contradictory excuses: “We’re looking for kitten heels.” “We’re looking for this.” “We’re looking for that.” “We’re focused on trends.” There was no consistency, no clarity, and no professionalism. It felt completely arbitrary — as if decisions were being made on a whim rather than any real buying standard. If you’re going to reject items, at least be honest instead of pretending there’s some curated vision when your own inventory contradicts it. The entire process felt dismissive and disorganized, and I left feeling like my time was completely disrespected. If you’re a seller with quality items, don’t expect transparency or fairness here. Brooklyn Exchange clearly picks and chooses without accountability, and customers pay for it with their time and patience. I will not be returning — and I definitely won’t be recommending this place to anyone who values professionalism or consistency.
