Buffalo Exchange Las Vegas: A Top Spot for Thrift Shopping

Buffalo Exchange Las Vegas stands out as a reliable destination for thrift store enthusiasts and anyone curious about secondhand shopping. This location carries the vibe and quality the chain is known for—curated collections of used clothing that feel fresh and wearable. If you’ve ever browsed Buffalo Exchange in other cities, you’ll appreciate the consistent mix of vintage, contemporary, and trend-right pieces they stock here. It’s not just about digging through piles; the layout makes it easy to spot something cool without endless searching.

The selection at this Las Vegas thrift store goes beyond clothes. You can find shoes, accessories, and sometimes housewares and books. While it leans mostly toward fashion, there’s enough variety to keep things interesting. For someone who enjoys vintage styles or wants to experiment with looks without spending a fortune, Buffalo Exchange Las Vegas delivers. The staff are usually pretty knowledgeable and ready to help if you want a second opinion or sizing advice.

What’s nice about Buffalo Exchange is that they buy and sell clothing on the spot. That means you can bring in your used pieces and possibly walk out with store credit or cash. It keeps the inventory rotating and ensures the stock feels fresh. For the Las Vegas thrift shopper, this makes Buffalo Exchange feel active and lively, not like a dusty old secondhand shop. It’s a solid place to build a wardrobe with character, mixing vintage finds with current styles in a way that feels natural, not forced.

Cool shop. Great selection of items with reasonable prices. You might find a good deal on bags, glasses, pants, shirts, and shoes. Wife found a great bag here for a very reasonable price. You can sell clothing items here and get cash and/or store credit. Store was very clean when we visited. I noticed employees actively cleaning the clothing racks when we were shopping. Not sure I’ve ever seen that at any retail store. Good on you folks!

Not only is this place a scam, but they have no workers that actually care about the customers. I sold clothes to this place in August. I was never given a “card” or prompted that I have to spend the store credit that day. So the $209 worth of clothes I donated before I moved, just got kept by the company. The dark haired lady with tattoos using username OD on the receipt had no solutions. Just told me that that was what it is and nothing else. They also sell clothes at poor quality. $26 for a top with missing buttons. Save your money and close this business.

The staff here seem to lack a real understanding of quality or vintage fashion. Aside from one short brunette employee who was pleasant, my experience was disappointing. The manager appears to equate value strictly with mainstream brands like Michael Kors or Aldo, which says a lot about their perspective on fashion. There doesn’t seem to be much appreciation for true craftsmanship, unique pieces, or items with genuine resale value. What was most frustrating is that they were willing to dismiss items worth hundreds of dollars and suggest donating them instead. If you’re bringing in high-quality or vintage pieces expecting informed evaluation, this may not be the right place. BTW : GO TO MAX LUXURY PAWN INSTEAD! Who's not gonna want a $500 coat for $5.

I was really disappointed with my experience. This shop is not size inclusive like most vintage stores I’ve visited. The plus size section is extremely limited. I brought in some items to sell, and as someone who is plus size, the pieces were on the larger side. The slender guy handling the clothes was very expressive about how “large” they were making faces, gasping, scoffing, and even laughing. It felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Needless to say, I left without selling anything. The search for a truly inclusive vintage plus size store continues.

Not good buyers. I've sold at many of these locations. I normally go in with a bag of clothes and come out with around $100 cash and they normally take most of the items I bring because I'm careful to only bring nice quality items. I put together a bag today and they passed on everything except a pair of Calvin Klein jeans. There was a brand new leather jacket and four pairs of guess shoes that are practically new and still in the guess stores on the shelves at full retail price and she hardly even looked at them and passed. Definitely got the feeling I was dealing with a misandrist who was passing on items out of spite and rudely passing on the items without even a proper look. I like Buffalo Exchange but this particular location is not a good place to sell. When you can expect to bring a big bag full of very lightly used designer name brand items and even get a decent look you know there's something wrong. If I was the owner or manager of this location I would be pretty upset to learn that my employees were just passing on good items that could make the store money out of their own personal bias. The shoes were practically brand new and I think they know what to put on the shelves at the guess stores. These shoes are still on the shelves in the stores, and the buyer looked right down her nose at them for a brief second and then push them away. Clearly they are not doing their job correctly and they are not an asset to a business trying to profit.
