Fantastic thrift spot with a real mission! Always find great deals on clothes, books, household items, and even some hidden gems—prices are super reasonable and the selection is huge. Stores are clean, organized, and well-staffed with friendly folks. Love knowing my purchases and donations support job training and employment programs for people in the community. Easy donation drop-offs too. One of the best Goodwills around—definitely worth checking out any location in Silicon Valley! (Highly recommend for thrifting with purpose!)
Came to donate some nice stuff but ended up in a full-on prison intake simulation. The guy at the back door barked orders like I was about to be processed—told me to stand behind a line with the authority of someone who either just got released, escaped, or moonlights as a CO. Not sure which, but honestly, 10/10 for realism. Great place to donate if you’re also prepping for jail.
Goodwill on De Anza Boulevard is one of the better-organized locations, with a well-maintained store and neatly arranged racks. The clothing section is sorted by size and color, making browsing more efficient. The store also carries electronics, books, and home decor, with some hidden gems for bargain hunters. While the pricing is reasonable, some shoppers mention that certain items feel overpriced for a thrift store. The staff is generally helpful, though weekends can be busy, leading to longer checkout lines. Overall, this location offers a more structured shopping experience compared to other Goodwill stores.
This location is great for shoes and clothing. Everything else is pretty low quality or small selection. Parking is limited. Men's clothing section has some great finds with Patagonia, NF, Columbia, and other higher value brands.
The Asian old woman cashier is rude and should not be checking anyone out. If she “thinks” an item is under priced she won’t sell you the item at the ticket price. She is also very slow which makes wait lines longer.
