Selling clothes here its a good experience. Very friendly staff and not-so-annoying waiting times. Overall great service
This used to be my main Buffalo and then I moved to Portland (shoutout to the Hawthorne location their managers and associates are so rad) and I’ve never had a worse buying experience. I completely understand buying on trends, right now buying for spring. Passing on curve love jeans for sizes 12-14, and frame and Paige. They were both skinny jeans but straight leg jeans. Straight leg and wide leg are the two main most popular styles right now. Also the colorways were all spring coded as I purchased them May through August of 2025. So make it make sense? The girl helping me was rude and not friendly at all. I asked originally if it was worth it as I saw her fly through 5 buys before me taking 1 item on the all. And again that’s fair. Her demeanor and the complete inconsistentcy with this buy was horrendous. I was also told a $70 top from Nordstrom that I’ve never worn. Only washed it to sell because that’s the nice thing to do was “bad quality” and that it’s polyester but i found items while waiting that were 100% rayon or polyester for $38-$44. I’ve been in fashion for 13 years and the buys this store does is why it has such a low rating. It smells musty and the inventory isn’t great. So sad to see no knowledge of quality or actual trends out of Urban Outfitter and Brandy Melville mannequins. If you buy based on customer that’s fine but to say all buffalos buy the same is incorrect. What people in PB want is not the same as what people in Portland or even Hillcrest want. I’ve sold over $2000 to buffalo and will never be back thanks to this one worker, her attitude, and her bad buy. The manager up from who checked me out was super friendly tho so shoutout to you maybe you can teach the other girl something on customer service.
When I went into the store the people that work there are rude. They have a bunch of dirty clothes hanging in their store. The jacket I brought in was in good condition and they did not want it. I felt like the manger was disrespectful. I would never go back .
I should have listened to the comments here. I went to sell my clothes today. I waited ONE HOUR for TWO customers before me, each taking 30 minutes. Not buying any clothes is actually very fine with me, but they should do something about the waiting system. They take customers one by one. And for some reason, they just waited for more than 10 minutes while a customer before me carefully folds all the unwanted clothes back to 5 separate bags by herself.
I didn’t have a good experience here. While I understand and respect that this is a higher-end thrift store and they’ll only accept items of better quality, the waiting time was very long and I got an unfriendly/snobby vibe from the staff, specifically from the manager who was wearing a mask at the time. I also understand that waiting times can get long, but I got a text saying that I was up soon and still had to wait over 15 minutes to get seen only to be told they wouldn’t take my Michael Kors purse because they were full. The snobby vibe also comes from the manager explaining to her trainee why they couldn't take the purse right in front of me instead of directly saying it to my face. That's not basic customer etiquette. I probably waited over 30 minutes total. Complete waste of my time. The staff needs to work on having a friendlier demeanor and being more time efficient.
