About This Store

Tucson thrift store essentials at Goodwill Donation Center

If you’re into thrift shopping in Tucson, the Goodwill Donation Center is a spot that’s hard to overlook. This isn’t just any thrift store; it’s part of the larger Goodwill chain known across the country for offering quality used clothing and household items while funding community programs. Tucson locals often swing by here looking for everything from practical everyday pieces to some unexpected vintage finds.

Walking in, you’ll find a solid mix of used clothing for all ages and sizes. Goodwill really shines in their variety—casual wear, business attire, and even some more unique vintage pieces show up on the racks if you’re patient. Beyond clothes, the store usually has a decent selection of furniture. It’s the kind of place where you might spot a sturdy dresser or an armchair with character without paying full retail price. Plus, there’s always a collection of housewares and kitchen gadgets that can be perfect for setting up a home on a budget.

Books, DVDs, and small electronics often round out the inventory here, which keeps things interesting for those hunting through the shelves. Goodwill’s model means the stock is constantly changing, so regular visits can pay off if you’re serious about thrift shopping in Tucson. This location embodies what Tucson thrift stores are all about: affordable, secondhand goods that support a great cause, all while helping you refresh your style or home without breaking the bank.

When dropping off donations, the employees have always been friendly and helpful. While shopping, items are very organized. Store is very clean.

For the most part I take all of my stuff to Goodwill I recently had to take it elsewhere because they wouldn't take something that was used a bit more than all of the other stuff I had now I work construction and I'm pretty sure anybody would be happy with working appliances and chairs but I guess not everybody

Came to drop off three bags this morning. I start walking towards the door I said hi how are you. She says this isn’t a store. I said but I can do donations? She said yes but we’re not a store. I knew that you weren’t a store when I specifically googled how to get here. No good morning, nothing. Maybe try to be a good person working at the goodwill? Just a thought. Save your time and go to the Salvation Army right up the block, where they came out to help me get the bags out of my car.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Center is closed and boarded up, despite Google stating otherwise. Waste of my damn time.

For 9 years I went out of my way to make donations to this center because the young men who worked there were so helpful, kind and fun. The past several months I have had to deal with an angry, nasty, ungrateful, unappreciative, rude, mean woman named "Bertha". She is at least 20 years younger than I am but she complains about everything I hand her "too heavy". She obviously hates her job and has said she could care less if donors went elsewhere. She refused to give me a donor slip. So, I guess I am finished with this center. There is a Salvation Army much, much closer and if I am going to drive a distance, I'll just drive to Assistance League, Salpointe Thrift, St Vincent de Paul, or any place who appreciates donations and donors.
