Big store. Lots of stuff. Treasures waiting to be found. 25% senior discount every Tuesday.
My roommate works graveyard and on Saturdays while he sleeps his small boy child and his plethora of toys make the common areas look like a Tasmanian devil went through in slow motion. I'm not willing to fork out $20 for a jump park that I have to stay at while he plays. I told him we were going to a toy store and it was a surprise, and we both freaked out when we got to this one. This Goodwill has THE BIGGEST TOY SECTION of them all, and I got two (almost uninterrupted) hours of shopping time while this kid touched them all, and they were fairly priced! They have a big selection. Of brand names too, shoes and clothes, which may have been slightly high considering the items were given to them. It was clean ad organized and a busy but no one was pushing or shoving or crying (resellers should get charged a hazard fee) and when we were both exhausted - it only cost me $1.49 for an ice cream on the way out the door. **IF YOU HAVE KIDS THAT ARE JERKS AND LEAVE GIANT MESSES FOR THE STAFF TO PUT AWAY, PLEASE GO TO THE JUMP PARK INSTEAD. The staff did not give me grief about letting him play, and we picked up everything before we left in the hopes that next weekend we have something better to do than stare at each other over our cereal bowls. Great shopping experience, thanks guys!
Many of the items are are WAAAYYYY over priced. I am a true shopper and for these prices you can buy brand new. Looks as though they're trying to cheat customers as there are so many different color stickers placed on top of each other. I only took a couple of pictures to show but there are several items like this. I believe who ever is running this store is just greedy. Items that are supposed to be sets are separated and marked at diffcent prices. These items are given to this company for free so any sale would be at 100% profit, stop being greedy!
Last three times I have been there is an older female manager with a seriously deep voice who attacks people. If they hold up clothes to see if they may fit I have heard her say "nice dressing room" and asked them to put clothes back. She picked on an elderly lady next trip you accidentally dropped something and this last visit with her deep masculine voice kicked up a middle age man and said "you act high, leave my store" I suspect she was intoxicated herself or if not needs to trained, disciplined for being cantankerous, and trained or perhaps given a drug and or alcohol test. I had observed the guy and didn't see anything abnormal other than he did ask a question about what color was on sale. Can't decide to go in for entertainment to observe this cranky old woman trying to ruin people's day or avoid her negative and attacking personality. A few of us were in awe today seeing her kick out someone and the clerk apologized to us saying the lady is a rough. The manager at this store is NOT what Goodwill stands for. Management needs to tame the rattle snake
I was shopping with ny daughter on Dec 9, 2025. I was in there trying stuff on in the children's section I wanted to make sure the items fit because it never fails I take it home! IT NEVER FITS!!OK SO i turn around and look who is standing there but TEMPE PD I WAS ACCUSED OF PUTTING ITEMS IN MY PURSE. I OPENED UP MY PURSE AND WOW THERE WAS NOTHING IN THERE !! I ASKED ANNA NUNEZ THE ASSOCIATE TO BRING the manager out. Here comes PHIL stating he didn't know anything Long story short..instead of apologizing to me they trespassed me from the store. I am Hispanic and I am sure Anna and Phil were hoping I was illegal or I had a warrant possible on probation and they were both wrong on all accounts. That Is how GOODWILL TREATS THEIR MINORITIES. ACCUSES THEM OF SHOPLIFTING THEN trespasses them... Goodwill or Goodnot !!
