Oxfam England thrift store is a reliable spot for anyone who loves digging through secondhand clothes and vintage items with a purpose. This chain is well-known across the UK not just for its wide range of used clothing but also for supporting charitable causes, so every purchase feels like a small win beyond just getting a good bargain. The vibe is straightforward and welcoming, without any fuss — just well-curated racks and shelves that encourage thrift shopping as a way to shop smarter and greener.
When you head into this Oxfam location, expect to find more than just clothes. The store usually carries furniture pieces that range from practical to quirky, offering options for those who want to outfit a room without spending a fortune or contributing to landfill. Books are another strong point here — from popular novels to vintage finds, it’s a nice spot to browse if you’re looking to build up a secondhand library. Plus, they often have housewares and small decorative items that add character to your space without the usual retail markup.
The mix of items changes frequently, so it’s worth visiting regularly if thrift shopping is part of your routine. Oxfam’s reputation for quality control means the used clothing tends to be in good shape, often including vintage pieces that stand out from what you’d find in typical charity shops. Whether you’re hunting for a classic denim jacket or a mid-century lamp, this store offers a steady stream of options. Shopping here also feels good knowing that the money goes toward important community and global projects, making each thrift find a bit more meaningful.
Overall, Oxfam England thrift store offers a no-nonsense, dependable experience for secondhand hunters who appreciate variety and purpose in their shopping. It’s the kind of place that combines practical thrift shopping with the chance to discover interesting vintage items, all while supporting a cause bigger than the store itself.

The clothes they sell are very clean and of good quality. The service is very friendly and efficient.
Great picks for clothing, gorgeous art, great prices, and incredible staff Instantly became my favorite oxfam
Lovely small shop with second hand clothing, accessories, books and etc. Everything was very clean and the clothes were organized by sizing. There’s lots of cute and creative postcards. The managers are very nice and it was a pleasure for me to visit their shop. Recommend you to visit.
A great variety of stock in the shop from food to clothes. It’s a great way to pick up a bargain. Staff are very kind and helpful and it’s great to know that all profits are going to help others that are in need of support.
Am a regular in oxfam when I'm in the area and a collector or DVDs so I just popped in to this store to find a poor selection of DVDs on the shelf. Usually if I cannot find something the staff are usually helpful and show me DVDs that they haven't put out in the hope I can find something I need. So the last two times they have been most unhelpful and have told me to come back the day after. Only giving 2 stars for the reasonable prices on DVDs in comparison to their counterpart stores, otherwise it would have been one star. Most unhelpful and will try again next time I am in the area to see if it is a one or rather two off otherwise will scratch oxfam off my list entirely. Disappointed as usually they have a better selection of DVDs and 8 or 9 out of 10 times I usually walk away with something to add to the collection if I ask to see other DVDs..
