If you’re into thrift shopping and find yourself in Portland, Goodwill is a go-to spot that locals know well. Portland Goodwill Stores have been part of the city’s secondhand landscape for years, carrying a steady rotation of used clothing, furniture, housewares, and even books. The chain is known for its consistent quality and the way it supports community programs, so every purchase feels like a small win beyond just finding something cool.
One of the things that stands out about Portland Goodwill Stores is how many different categories they cover. It’s not just a place to pick up a vintage jacket or a pair of boots. You’ll often find a decent mix of home goods, from lamps to kitchenware, alongside an eclectic selection of books and occasional vinyl records. Because it’s a larger chain, their inventory turns over quickly, and there’s a sort of rhythm to the hunt — stop by regularly and you’ll catch a variety of vintage and modern styles that fit different tastes.
Portland Goodwill Stores also have that classic thrift store vibe that many Portland shoppers appreciate: a bit of organized chaos, a chance to score something unique without the boutique prices, and the satisfaction of giving used items a second life. It’s not just about shopping; it’s part of the Portland thrift culture where sustainability and style meet. If you’re serious about thrifting or just curious about exploring Portland’s thrift scene, these Goodwill locations are definitely worth a visit.

Needs a better book section but all and all clean
Huge store. Wide selection. Very clean and organized.
And just like that, I can has nice work pants 'n cook properly again. 'Preciate you for your service and putting up with all the craziness that is this neighborhood (no shade to them either, theres genuinely some awesome people here - Like at Taste Tickler). I've gotten many solid goods at a fair to great deal here over the years. Your workers endeavor with a full spectrum and are very to the point, always on their toes, and polite. Thanks folks, you're doing a great job!
Was followed by security, the whole time I was there, then, when I mentioned at check out that this makes good customers uncomfortable (while spending too much money on overpriced items), the employee was incredibly rude!
Just fyi this goodwill has zero parking.
