All goodwill locations have taken out dressing rooms. They say you can return what does not fit because you no longer can try it on. But...the gas to come back and only get a store credit yo possibly have to do it again is crazy. The prices for things they get for free are too high so technically we are paying for the lack of convenience. Shame on you goodwill. Some of us want to keep our money rather than the hassle of shopping with you.

Goodwill will steal your money. I bought 5 items and returned 3. They gave me a credit for all five items. Trying to be a good person I let them know they have me too much money back. A manager tried to correct it and the system would not let him. He told me to come back. I went back and another manger told me she couldn't do anything and that I was "winning by getting to return the clothes and keeping the money". Well hell didn't that blow up in my face. When I went to spend the credit they told me the credit was invalid. That I didn't return it within seven days. I'm sorry, but I bought it on a Wednesday and returned it the following Wednesday. Last time I checked that was seven days. I returned the clothes the same day I tried to spend the credit. I was told I could "walk the floor" to try and find the clothes. Like who does that? The manager today was apathetic and honestly if you hate your job that much then do us all a favor and quit. Stay far away from the Goodwill on Mason and Kingsland. They are scammers and will steal from you. Apparently they don't care about you if they already have their money. Oh also I tried to call the corporate number and not one extension answered. I even tried the extensions for the employees and still no answer! I'll never shop at Goodwill again nor will I donate to them. It's really sad that a company that is about helping people just stole from me.

New policy of closing dressing rooms at all goodwill locations seems discriminatory. Many fixed income families shop at locations across the city and to only offer store credit for clothing is ridiculous when you can't try on clothes to see if they fit. I bought 4 pairs of jeans that were my size, but of course couldn't try on until I got home, and only 1 pair actually fits my body. I purchased at a location not near where I live so I likely will not be able to return bc I dont plan on being over on the part of town again.

I called in and asked for volunteer services and Michelle tried walking me through the steps. The steps were as follows: Go to the website, click on jobs, then volunteer then select court ordered. I asked so do I select court ordered? But what if it’s not court ordered? Michelle replied, oh well most people call in for the reason so I assumed. I said well let’s not assume and ask questions next time. So disappointing.

I have been a Goodwill customer for many years. But now. But now! Their prices are ridiculous. In some cases the retail tag is still on the merchandise and it is priced higher than retail. Now they don't provide bags or wrap any breakables. You have to bring your own bags or buy their reusable ones. At my local Goodwill they have started wrapping random, unrelated items together with Saran Wrap when you may only want one of them which would be a lower price if priced separately. Also many items are now wrapped with Saran Wrap which means you cannot inspect the merchandise and I am not going to buy a "pig in a poke". Very Dissatisfied Customer
