Goodwill – Retail Store and Donation Center in Phoenix is a solid spot for anyone into thrift shopping around the city. Phoenix Goodwill Stores are part of the well-known Goodwill chain, which has built its reputation on supporting community programs through the sale of secondhand goods. What you get here is a steady rotation of used clothing, vintage pieces, furniture, books, and housewares, all under one roof. It’s a classic thrift store experience with a local twist.
Because it’s a Goodwill location, the store tends to have a good mix of items that attract a variety of shoppers. You can find casual wear, business attire, and even some vintage gems if you take your time digging through the racks. The furniture section often surprises with solid, practical pieces that work well in Phoenix homes. Plus, their housewares and books sections are pretty reliable for picking up kitchen tools or a good read without paying full price. The turnover is frequent enough that every visit can feel fresh and different.
Phoenix Goodwill Stores also offer the added convenience of a donation center, making it easy for folks to drop off items they no longer need. This keeps the inventory lively and encourages a cycle of reuse that’s both budget-friendly and environmentally conscious. If you enjoy the hunt and don’t mind sifting through a mix of goods, this Goodwill location in Phoenix is worth a regular stop on your thrift shopping route.

Found tools for great prices. Staff helpful and friendly. Great new location and new team. Talked to the new store manager who is excited to help our community. She was nice and friendly. I love that goodwill is making great improvements and building more locations.

This is a really good store. The employees are really good and nice, but there's one employee. I'm guessing a Manager She has long hair and glasses. She usually accusing people of stealing which I don't know if that's allowed But She will follow people to the parking lot or argue with then in the store and out the store and take their clothes away from them, I don't know if it's allowed, but if this is it's very unprofessional I don't see any other manager do that. It's really sad because everything else is good the employees are really nice and kind. But goodwill maybe look into that Manager making your store look bad.
Another overpriced Goodwill. This sweater had a hole in the front so it’s not even an area that you could mend it and have it be hidden. Also, this same sweater sells on eBay for $14 without any holes:)
I’ve been here twice, both in the morning, and both times were terrible experiences because of the manager; Elisabeth (she has glasses and brown hair). The first time, I overheard her talking badly about her own coworkers. It honestly disgusted me. The worker she was talking about was so sweet, and clearly was keeping busy, yet she still felt the need to put her down behind her back. That kind of behavior is unprofessional and toxic. The second time was even worse. I walked in and immediately saw her micromanaging the crap out of the cashier. She was hovering over them, criticizing everything with another manager who clearly looked uncomfortable with the conversation, and being rude for no reason. The cashier was doing their job and didn’t deserve that treatment. Not long after, I heard yelling at the front — she was cussing out a customer. It was embarrassing to witness and made the whole place uncomfortable. The manager Elisabeth is rude, disrespectful, and creates a horrible environment for both employees and customers. If this is how she acts regularly, it’s no surprise people wouldn’t want to work here. Management seriously needs to do better.
