Alexis took good care of us at the Berkeley Springs goodwill! Great attitude and helpful with customers!
I went in today 5/14/24 n everything I picked up 4 shirts n 3 pair of pants fit perfectly!! That NEVER happens 2 me! Also 3 of the 4 shirts were 1/2 off! Another thing I noticed the 3 pair of pants I got were $4.99 each normally when I find pants that r fairly expensive....$7-$9 soooo I'm not sure but looks like they have not just changed the store around but also their prices! It was a great day 4 me in the Goodwill n prices seemed cheaper than they used 2 b, which would b a HUGE plus!
This Goodwill was staffed by older people when we went this week. It had a good supply of items, and we bought a few. Parking was fine, the prices were okay, but checkout was a pain. We stood in line for awhile as the cashiers tried to figure the system out. Other than that, it was fine. We will probably be back.
-Over priced. Certain things are more expensive than if you purchase at Gabes or Walmart. -Poor management, employees often outside smoking, not helping with unloading donations or clearing sidewalk, which is often an obstacle course due to employees/managers ignoring the mess. -Electronics/electrical items/toys, games and puzzles are often missing parts, not working, or dirty. Marketplace is a much better option for used items.
I went to Goodwill today and the store smells like someone pooped in there. No bathroom to use but the whole store smells like a bathroom like come on do something about it! I wish I can give you a zero!
