I always love this place. It has really cool stuff all the time so don't go in not expecting to spend money, because that's impossible. My favorite employee is the older man with the long hair because he is so freaking cool. He may be one of the main reasons I go there. He always has something super nice or insightful to say. People like him are hard to find so I'm happy he works there. The merchandise is awesome and you can't beat the prices.

I find the best items here. I collect coffee cups from all over the world and I never leave here without finding at least one. My partner also finds more clothes here than she needs. Bring your own bags, they sell reusable ones but they aren’t the best quality. If they had a better men’s section I’d give them 5 stars but again they can only sell what they receive in donations.

This is one of the goodwills I stop by regularly. It's a hit or miss but overall they usually have things that I need. The unfortunate part about the Goodwill store is that they're not letting people try and close. Therefore I don't like being bothered with bringing everything home and then bringing it back if it doesn't fit. There's not a lot of home goods but enough. Overall it's filled with clothing. It's a disappointment that they've opted not to allow people to try on things. I always find decent clothes in this goodwill compared to the other goodwill's in Roanoke but I thought that goodwill was for people that didn't have much money and able to get decent second hand clothing at a affordable prices that can't shop like the middle and upper class families! The prices are getting completely outrageous. Like $400.00 dollars for a used love seat, used T.V for $600.00 Or a used t-shirt for 12.99 that's nearly full price of new Items at Walmart or other department store's ! What happened to affordable prices for people who are struggling and can't afford new stuff from department stores at full price?? LOWER YOUR PRICES !!!!

I usually have positive experiences at this Goodwill location, but my most recent visit felt disappointing. I was next in line and greeted the cashier, Virginia, but she ignored me. She did not say hello or engage in any of the basic courtesy. She asked if I was a rewards member, and when I said no, she moved on, even though I noticed her asking the customers before me if they would like to sign up. That small but noticeable difference in treatment felt off-putting and left me uncomfortable. I don’t know if it was personal bias or simply inattentiveness, but either way, it didn’t feel welcoming. I hope Goodwill encourages staff to treat all customers equally with basic courtesy and consistency.
