Love this Goodwill! Make sure to donate right before (for good luck) and 20% off your purchase. Make sure to hit the place before 3ish, because the high school resellers take everything, but they’ve got great stuff. Staff is super kind, and are good about picking up stuff when you drive through to drop stuff off.

The good will in sandy ut 13th east should make sure there employee Sam is recognized for excellent customer service. He goes above and beyond. He made my shopping experience just wonderful and put the biggest smile on my face watching him with the customers. He went above and beyond. Every store needs an employee like him.

The staff here are so kind and helpful! Really made my shopping experience better. However, there are no fitting rooms. This is really irritating because I want to make sure clothes fit before buying them. There are plenty of mirrors so that helps but having no fitting rooms is ridiculous. Also, prices are very high here. All sweaters were at least 7 dollars and jeans were at least 8 dollars. If I’m spending 8 or 9 dollars on a pair of USED pants, I would like to make sure they fit.

Avoid this place when the guy with long hair is there he will literally try to scam you. I had to argue my refund he only scanned one return item and claimed that I may have gotten the items on a discount day! Which is literally a lie. He didn’t scan both items. When I insisted to rescan them he did and guess what my refund was more than what he claimed. Never apologized and had, had an attitude all the time hard to believe, as he was wrong. I was about to exchange for a different item and pay the difference. But by the time all this happened I didn’t want to buy anything anymore. Goodwill be careful who you are hiring! I will never be back.

I usually really like this Goodwill location because it’s close to my home, and I both donate and shop here often. Unfortunately, my recent experience left a very bad impression. Last Friday, I bought several items totaling about $50. When I got home, I realized that one pair of shoes was missing from my bag. When I returned to the store, it was clear the item had been dropped and never placed in my bag — even though I had paid for it. I had the proof of transaction, but because I didn’t have the original tag on the shoe, they refused to give me the missing pair back and said it was “store policy.” It didn’t make sense to me — I had proof of purchase, and obviously no one keeps the tag on after buying something. It felt very unfair that a store mistake couldn’t be corrected, yet the policy was used against the customer. In the end, I even returned the single shoe I had — what would I do with just one shoe anyway? They can resell it. But the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. It’s disappointing because I used to enjoy supporting this location, but after this experience, I won’t be shopping here again.
