The Layton Goodwill is wonderful. I went on a Saturday morning with 19 year old and found some awesome items. I then realized I had some things in my van that I could donate and get a coupon. Cody at the drop-off was very friendly and helpful. Rick was our cashier and he was also very friendly and also quick. I always like my experience at the layton goodwill.
We just bought a bunch of furniture at this Goodwill, and with Tawana and two of the guys in the backs help, we got everything loaded perfectly. I want to say one of their names was Cody? I should have asked. They were all so friendly and courteous, and were very careful while helping up load up. They were incredibly busy in the back after a full day of donations, but did not treat us like an inconvenience or a hindrance. If they were allowed to take tips I’d seriously consider running them back some cash. Thanks so much you all!!
Went with my daughter tonight and had a great time shopping. Tawana checked us out and was amazing. She was careful with my fragile items and just all around pleasant to speak with.
One word for this location: TAWANA. She is the agent that served the store, not just customers. There was a huge line and she was called up. When she got to the register, she cleared that cache out in minutes. When I got to the register, there was young man that was having issues with his card going through. Tawana came around the register to help him and when it declined she apologized to him for not being able to get him a drink today from her own pocket. I then waited for her because I needed this woman to check me out. Her energy was just beyond anything I have ever experienced in a customer service position. She was so sweet and kind, the type of energy you just wish she would scoop you up and take you home! I don't know how else to express that... what a beautiful, wonderful person to have on your team. Please share this with her and whomever, she deserves the recognition.
We went here and we’re shopping for a couple of minutes until one of us grabbed the beanie and tried it on and a lady working here said she was going to kick us out if we weren’t gonna buy it and that we needed to go to a changing room which they didn’t have to try a beanie on, she was also threatening to kill us because we were “vandalizing” by dropping a shirt on the ground accidentally. I then touched the bike and she said that we were riding the bike all around the store and she had to kick us out. I said that I was just looking at it and she said OK then let’s buy it or you have to get kicked out. The manager then came over and said that we were fine to stay and he was very nice about it. He was nice. She was not.
