Place was well kept very clean - I needed to use the dressing room and while there were no employees at the door there was a bell to ring and shortly after I rang the bell an announcement was made and an employee arrived shortly after (not even 1 min) - there's a lot of variety when it comes to the clothes ,ahoes, furniture electronics, etc - I was mainly there looking for Pieces to make my cosplay for kumoricon I found some great pieces and some other stuff I ended up needing - I regret not taking any pictures for reference to show. Overall 5/5 ⭐️
I like buying secondhand clothes and this store has historically had a good selection. I appreciate that they have fitting rooms, albeit with restricted hours, because not all Goodwills have them anymore. I wish they would clean the floors though. Every time I go into the fitting room I see big piles of dust and trash in the corners. Sometimes the store smells bad too - I have been there when it smelled like dog waste. The activewear often smells like it's been washed in cough syrup - it has this strong fragrance that is hard to wash out. I've bought activewear items, taken them home and washed them and that medicinal smell is still in them. There was at least one item that I had to throw away because of the smell. It wasn't a sweaty smell, it was the smell of a fragrance used to cover up a sweaty smell - almost as bad in my opinion.
I am a frequent shopper and love getting gently used items. Was really saddened to see an employee pulling all of the discount color tickets for the week and putting them in a cart for repricing. 🫤It's hard enough to find something on the half-price sale. Now we know why. This is very bad practice Goodwill. Please refrain from doing this at your stores!
Worst costumer service ever! I was purchasing a train set for my son and as I was about to slide my card the lady was like “oh we can’t sell you this item for this price” and raised it to $40.. my son was upset because I’m not paying for a item that was already in poor condition..I will never go back to this location..
Donate and shop somewhere else if you truly want to help your community. This is the most expensive goodwill in the state. Gone are the days where I bought a couch for $50. $25 for a wooden frame with filigree? $20 for a pair of pleather leggings which are cheaper at target or online. $8 for a used kids witch hat that is literally $4.99 on amazon. I’ve seen the response from this owner on helping resume writing and whatnot and its definitely a corporate script if I’ve ever heard one. Goodwill is about profits and daily quotas not helping the low income community around it. There is literally a trailer community across the street from it. Gross and annoying. Not all goodwill location pricing is as greedy as I’ve seen at this location..
