About This Store

Thrift Shopping at a Lake Oswego Thrift Store

Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette is a solid stop when it comes to thrift shopping in Lake Oswego. This location carries the hallmark Goodwill vibe—reliable, community-focused, and always with a rotating selection of secondhand goods. Because it’s part of the larger Goodwill chain, shoppers can count on a steady stream of donations that keep the inventory fresh and varied. Plus, proceeds support local job training and education programs, which gives the whole experience a little more meaning beyond just scoring great finds.

At this Lake Oswego thrift store, you’ll find plenty of used clothing, from everyday basics to some vintage pieces that casually pop up on the racks. It’s the kind of place where you might stumble on a retro jacket or a pair of jeans that fit just right. Furniture and housewares are also part of the mix, so it’s worth a browse if you’re outfitting a new apartment or just hunting for a quirky lamp or dishware. Books and media show up here too, which makes it a good spot for those who like their thrift shopping to cover multiple categories in one trip.

Because it’s a Goodwill, the store tends to have a clean, organized feel compared to some smaller thrift spots. That makes digging through the sections a bit more enjoyable and less overwhelming. Whether you’re after vintage finds or just looking for solid used clothing and household items, this Lake Oswego thrift store offers a dependable selection and a chance to support a bigger cause. It’s a classic Goodwill experience with a local twist.

Finally made it to this spot to shop with a few girlfriends. We loved it! I got FRAME jeans, brand new for $40! Perfectly curated, upscale Goodwill boutique with friendly and fun staff. We had a great time , found some well priced treasures and can’t wait to go back! Please understand this is a boutique and not just a random goodwill, and adjust your expectations accordingly for a *realistic* shopping experience 10/10!

There are great used and some new items here and the store is well organized, but the pricing feels extremely high considering these are donated goods. I purchased a perfume that was priced higher than what it sells for online used. It had been sitting on the shelf for a long time and unfortunately caused a burning sensation on my skin, so it is only useful now as a room freshener. Goodwill does not offer discounts or price adjustments, even if an item is defective. It would be wonderful to see a sale rack or periodic markdowns, especially for merchandise that has been on the floor for a while. These items are donated and the community shops here for affordability. A more flexible pricing approach would help move inventory and support customers who rely on thrift stores. The staff was kind and welcoming, but the pricing policies need improvement for this to truly feel like a community focused organization.

Disgusting behavior from staff. 02/07/27 6:20pm-6:40pm It started with a Mexican man wanting to purchase some items for his birthday. The older lady at the register asked him “do you really want to purchase $600 jeans??” He said yes. I was so incredibly offended for him that she would even ask that. Then she couldn’t process his cash payment. She said multiple times “wait here while I get someone.” She repeated herself enough times to make it patronizing. She returned with another older woman, both ladies with short hair. The two women trying to get the tills working to process his payment were cussing and arguing with each other for 10-15 minutes. It was so incredibly uncomfortable. I had items I wanted to purchase but put them back because I was so disgusted by their behavior. Even after the incident, the ladies were still arguing heatedly, with one being sent to the back while the other slammed things at the register until I left.

The customer service here is awful. The employees act snobbish and uninterested, as if they’re working in a high-end designer store — it’s Goodwill. I waited over 10 minutes at both the dressing room and the register and was completely ignored. I made multiple attempts to get an employee’s attention and was blatantly brushed off. After standing there with no help, I walked out without purchasing anything. Completely unacceptable.

Honestly haven't felt so uncomfortable buying anywhere as I did here. Was asked if we realized a jacket we were buying was $200. (Obviously we checked the tag) then she called a manager? The manager came and left (she was super nice.) Then we paid $200 in cash, she called over ANOTHER employee who seemed bent out of sorts. Took the cash ran it through the machine she couldn't get it to go, the original employee had to do it, then ran it 2 times the machine said it was good. Then the other employee took a marker to it to check AGAIN, then called over the manager again to be told it was good. The manager could see how frustrated I was at this point though I was not saying much other than, "Do I need to do debit if this is a issue." because she said "we weren't trying to offend you or single you out." Felt like we were very much like we were being singled out.
