I was very impressed with my interaction with Jasmina at the Albuquerque Buffalo Exchange. She was extremely friendly and patient with customers even though they were shorthanded. I brought in 4 bags of clothes to sell and felt guilty that there were others waiting but Jasmina made me feel at ease. She has all the qualities that you would want in a retail setting especially these days which I don’t seem to find anymore. The cashiers were very friendly with everyone also.

Buffalo Exchange, I love you 😍 Snagged the cutest MuMu jeans and a pair of Doc Martens (hello, dream combo). The prices? Phenomenal. The staff? Absolute gems — cute, funky, cool, and so kind. ✨ Officially my new fave place. If you need me, I’ll be back shopping 💃🛍️

My girlfriend and I shopped at Buffalo Exchange on Central Avenue today, not expecting to find much after reading a number of negative reviews. To our surprise, we found a great selection of vintage clothing for both men and women, all in excellent condition, and the prices were reasonable. In addition, the store is spacious, well-organized, and clean. All the staff we interacted with were friendly. Of all the thrift stores we have visited in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, Buffalo Exchange rates among the best.

I think a lot of people need to read the signs above the sell desk before trying to sell and not take things personally. They buy based on what they see selling in the store, not based on what you personally think is in style. They also buy by season and while yes, the amount they give for items has gone down 10% for cash from 35% to 25%, they are not going to resell your items if they aren't in good condition. Think about how you shop and if you'd buy something in bad condition. Also think about how long it takes to turn your own items around on poshmark and depop. BE experiences the same thing. Also, just because something is designer, doesn't mean it's a cute and resellable style. They're a business, not a charity. Goodness... take it in stride.

Buffalo exchange had gone very much downhill since I used to shop here 8 years ago. The whole staff is completely unprofessional and rude. They told me they are looking for clothes in style considering I’m in the younger generation all of the items I brought were definitely in style. They didn’t take one piece of clothing and it bothered me because looking around the store the have faded t shirts and outdated styles. They definitely judge you while sorting through your clothes making faces and side comments. I had a pair of brand new Nikes, and they tried to offer me $5 for it knowing they will sell it in store for much more. Possibly $40 considering some of the items they have are way over priced. They go based of their taste in style and preferences not what is actually in style. Not to mention all they talk about is gender identity and base their whole personality off of that. Not a great topic to be bringing up while selling clothes. I don’t care about your gender or who you are. Just do your job and stop being so judgmental feeling that your above others .
