I really love this thrift, you can usually find some great things here! My one issue is the recent spike in prices. Men’s jeans are now usually $10.99, as compared to $7.99-$8.99 before, for example. I have noticed many things have had their prices increased by $1-2. I understand wanting to compensate employees well and keep things running, but considering their inventory is based on donations, which they receive for free, I am discouraged from buying here. I usually visit this goodwill quite often, the employees have always been very kind and helpful, store overall is good. I just am discouraged by the recent hike in prices.
No dressing room No ability to solve the cited problem of theft and drug use within old dressing rooms...so there are none...in a store that sells mostly clothes... 7 day return policy Motivated shopper buys a stack of pants knowing a second trip and a second wait in line is baked in Return process requires you to fill out a paper form and THEN get approval from a manager Literally call for a manager 3 times while the line at least doubles in length This is already broken and ludicrous and then you find out you can only get STORE CREDIT back Told by manager if I dont like it I should shop at Walmart...nice...well done everyone...
Dark dungeon. Almost every lighting in the building was out and has been since my move here and visiting this store since July 2025 my latest visit included coming into the store with books and shoes leading off and literally had to pull out my flashlight to look at product. I’m sure shrink isnt a priority in this store not to mention overall layout organization and presenting a shoppable experience for customers. Pricing all over the board with product that should never be sold, quality control issues Being that it is the only Goodwill in Missoula competition is scarce leads me to believe no forth effort to compete? Merchandising standards are the worst I’ve seen coming from the Arizona market … so much larger you would think maintaining one store in a small handful of stores in Montana would be keyed in. Apparently no concern to higher UPS. So disappointing I’m a customer standpoint it could be so much bigger…. I hate shopping here
Ok Goodwill, ya'll need to do better. Everyone understands your policy for not refunding cash for returns. Not my favorite policy. But overcharging someone and then refusing to refund money that you took and only giving store credit back is strait up theft. And if you are going to have people working at all, you need to make sure there is someone authorized to give back money that was wrongfully taken. I expect when someone takes something that doesn't belong to them, there would be someone intelligent enough to do something to fix it. That is absolutely the least of what should have been done. No, your policy doesn't account for theft FROM a customer does it? This is absolutely beyond preposterous!
I was physically assaulted by women trying to look at a new rack. I was walking and an employee moved a rack behind me and I was trampled and shoved by what looked middle aged moms. This is crazy… people shouldn’t be this desperate to resell. I stayed to see if they did it again and sure enough they rolled a mens rack and there was 12 people running after it. One person stopped the rack roller at the bathrooms so they could personally search the rack before they rolled it into the men’s. Disgusting behavior. I feel so so bad for the wonderful employees. Wish I was able to report this to the manager for them to do something about this. It’s ridiculous.
