Safer stores are set up like department stores. Each item of clothing is separated by size and type. No trying to look through every piece of clothing to find the size you need. Love this place!
This store is great but it Way better a few years ago the lady in the jury department today takes forever to put out jewelry. She scans everything goes by that price too expensive. The savers in Way more reasonable And they don’t hire somebody in the jury department to take 15 minutes to look up something just put it out in the case and put a price on it and I’m definitely not gonna keep asking to see purses behind a counter. That’s silly what happened to the store, but the jewelry lady the new one with the glasses in the gray hair she needs to be replaced I think I’ll keep the Ellisville
The employees should really put a stop to the three or four people who line up to run to the jewelry counter. I waited outside FIRST IN LINE with my baby for ten minutes before opening just to have that wicked woman run past me when she knew I was first and so did all the employees. God doesn't like the greedy. Those few people ruin it for everyone else.
Edited to add: Their dvd prices are absolutely deranged. $5 each for a mostly obsolete medium and they’re doing 0 quality control. 80% of them are scratched beyond even being usable. Long time patron of this store- The staff are lovely, helpful, personable, and hardworking. The greed of the organization, however, is appalling. The prices have become abominably high and entirely nonsensical. Ancient crumbling flipflops for $7-13 when they are $5 brand new at Target or Old Navy, crusty dusty Dollar General votive candles for $3.49 (they are $1 brand new), busted cd players for $26, most clothes are $9-$15, god forbid it's of decent quality, then it's more like $17-$40. I'm baffled at what the justification for these out of control prices is? They've eliminated cashiers and dressing rooms, no on site employees have been given raises, they receive 100% of their inventory FOR FREE, and they themselves will remind you that "shopping at our retail store does not support any non-profit". If your own employees cannot afford to shop at your THRIFT STORE, that is an issue. They should take a note from St. Vincent Depaul in South County (all clothes are $4).
