It’s a goodwill. Sometimes you’ll find some interesting stuff. Very hit or miss on prices and selection. The customer service is okay sometimes.

Today was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any goodwill store ever. It’s always a bit dirty and today as well as last week I found squirming big beetle type bugs on clothing on the racks which was unpleasant but honestly kinda goes with the goodwill territory. Less than a month ago I did a goodwill return and was given the return on my first ever goodwill gift card. Today I had a new return and I pulled out my gift card to add the amount to the card. The employee put my return on the card and a receipt printed showing the system accepted it and it was loaded to the card. The employee asked if I wanted to see what the total amount now was since I had a past return on the card and now the current return. I said yes please and she swiped the card which showed zero dollars. She said since the receipt said it was accepted, it was obviously a faulty card. She called another employee to come help and he said because todays return is so recent, they can put todays return on a new card. I had my receipt for the first return from last month with me, however the employee said they can’t credit that amount because the receipt said it was accepted…well so did todays and they just told me it was a faulty card…but it was basically too bad and have a nice day..? I said no.. I want my credit but I was accused of lying and using the credit before today and accused of essentially trying to get a free whopping $14 out of the situation. A shopper behind me stepped in and said this wasn’t acceptable since they know I returned something and should have a credit and I have a receipt to prove it and they just proved the card was faulty! I donate stuff there all the time, two bags in the last two weeks and was in shock and awe of the employees rudeness and not believing me. When I explained the situation to the 4th employee, he pulled the gift card from the garbage they had thrown it in and swiped it again and low and behold the two returns were on there. Not sure if it was due to their system being slow or what but obviously I wasn’t lying and hadn’t spent it, and they were going to throw the card away and tell me too bad so sad and not let me have the credit. Multiple times the employee said we can’t do anything and expected me to leave. It was quite frustrating and time consuming and hurtful to be accused of lying and they didn’t apologize for thinking I wasn’t being truthful. If I continue to go to goodwill I will be driving to other locations

The cashier, Mike, was extremely rude during my visit. I needed to make a return and politely asked why my name and phone number were required, as I had never returned an item to Goodwill before. He responded by slamming my receipt on the counter, sighing loudly, and muttering profanity under his breath before calling for a supervisor. When I asked if he could simply explain the process, he told me he didn’t have time for me and said the supervisor would explain it instead. While I was still standing at the counter, he then called the next customer forward and told me to move. The supervisor arrived and explained the process calmly and kindly. I provided my name and phone number without issue, thanked him, and he wished me a great day. I wasn’t looking for an argument, just a simple explanation.

A couple of weeks ago, my family and I came to donate things to this store after cleaning out my Mother in Law's garage. While I know the stuff was dusty and a little dirty, the attitude of the donation center attendant was less than desired. The moment I got out of the truck, the attendant was shaking his head at me. When I asked him if there was a problem he said no and started unloading the stuff with a look of disgust on his face. When we got to the end, there were two metal outdoor art pieces with hanging hardware on the back. He told me this was not art and that it was scrap metal that we had to take to the back and throw away. He would not hear us even when we showed him where you can hang them up. We got no greeting. We got no thank you. I will never donate my things to this store ever again. I'll take my business next door to the Idaho Youth Ranch.

No dressing rooms and no mirrors. The only way to see how something fits is by competing with the other shoppers to use one of the few mirrors they are selling as merchandise. Many of the racks are overpacked which makes shopping incredibly difficult. This used to be one of my favorite goodwills so it’s sad to come here and have such an unpleasant experience. If you’re going to take away dressing rooms at least have mirrors on the end of clothing racks like savers does.
