Love my local Salvation Army. Very nice employees and always find useful and unique items. My favorite shopping stop.
I like to stop at this location when I travel between Phoenix and Tucson often stop for lunch at one of the many restaurants in the area and this is a great destination to do some shopping the store almost always has something interesting at a great value the crew are always friendly the store is always very clean
I love it here!! I buy all of my clothes here for great deals, most time there's deals for 50% off. Clothes are organized by color NOT size.
First time at one of these today and the experience was positive. I was kinda surprised at how little was in the store besides clothes. Honestly reminded me of a Ross. We ended up seeing a donated clearly handmade desk that weirdly was paired with a coat rack that we really wanted. We told the cashier we would pay full price but we only wanted the rack and she dropped the price 25% for us and let us just take the rack. Very comparable to Goodwill, but a more positive atmosphere.
Normally I never have a problem here and love to shop here but today I had the worst experience with an employee, Lucy! First I asked her to ring my clothes up without wrinkling them and she disregarded that request blaming it on a new POS system (or maybe she didn’t understand me because she barely speaks English). Next she wouldn’t take my screenshot of this month’s 25% off coupon that’s worked a hundred times before, it’s a pain to search through the email every time to find it so I screenshot it and never had an issue. She literally made me go into my email and find the email while holding the line up just to show her and she still didn’t give it to me the 25% off my item. Blaming it on the new POS system again. Honestly I just told her ring my stuff up and let me leave. I’ve never been treated like this at ANY Salvation Army and from now on I will not go to her register! Pissed me off enough to want to write this review!! The lady she rang up before me was also being really rude to her and saying she didn’t have time for this and I thought she was out of line until I actually dealt with Lucy myself.Whole store needs retraining.
