A brilliant book shop with a wide range of second hand books in a range of genres. They also sell board games, DVDs, Blu Rays and a range of chocolate and Fair-trade items

This Oxfam shop predominately sells books, as oppose to the other Oxfam shop not far away, which sells clothes and other products. Books as you would expect from a charity shop are cheap, and there are quite a few in this particular shop, especially children's books. There is also a large display of fairtrade and environmentally friendly products, including fabric softener, bee homes and washing up liquid. These are more expensive than their competitors, but it's worth it if it damages the environment less. I would especially recommend their fairtrade cocoa, combined with warm coconut milk is one of the best hot chocolates I've ever tasted!

Used to be a fabulous book shop to go into and find an interesting bargain but in recent years it has really deteriorated. The books are now very expensive with paper packs now averaging £4 and hardbacks some of which are £8-£10 not really in the spirit of the charity shop. Why is this, when I go into other Oxfam bookshops around the country I can still buy books for £1 and other charity shops in Lincoln sell them for as little as 25p The amount of books in the shop has drastically reduced as well with shelf space dedicated to their own brand shampoo and scarves etc. They also moved things round more often than Tesco's.
