When you step into this Oxfam location, the vibe is relaxed but bustling, filled with the kind of secondhand finds that make you want to linger and dig a little deeper.
In this particular shop, you’ll find a solid mix of items. The clothing racks often feature vintage and contemporary styles, so you can pick up classic pieces as well as current trends at thrift store prices. The selection goes beyond just apparel. There’s a well-curated assortment of books, from fiction and non-fiction to children’s titles and sometimes rare editions. For those who like to browse household goods, the store regularly stocks furniture, kitchenware, and quirky decorative items that add character to any home. It’s a great spot to pick up sustainable alternatives to new stuff, with the bonus that your money supports Oxfam’s wider mission.
Shopping at Oxfam England thrift store feels different from hitting a regular secondhand shop. The quality control is usually pretty good—items are clean and in good condition—and the selection tends to rotate often, so it’s worth checking back regularly. It’s a place where thrift shopping is about more than just savings; it’s about making thoughtful choices, reducing waste, and giving back in a small but meaningful way. If you enjoy browsing for vintage finds or simply need to refresh your wardrobe or collection of books without breaking the bank, this Oxfam is a solid stop.

Excellent shop. Amazingly good selection of high quality books at really reasonable prices. An absolute must stop for bibliophiles..
Great little shop and high quality due to location.....Radley Handbags!!!!
Modest sized shop but with a good range of books in fine condition
Loads of book, most of them at a good price, some a little on the more expensive side of things, compared with other oxfam (book)shops. Nonetheless, a great range and at very reasonable prices for most items. A small selection of bookmarks too. Staff is very helpful.
Oxfam Bookshop + Bath = Expensive. That’s what I expected. But even with that expectation in mind, I was shocked at the greed of this charity shop. Old Sotheby’s auction catalogues for £10 minimum? One was £35!!!???!!! Old history books for an average of £20!! New for more than new. Just ridiculous. I’ve noticed Oxfam Bookshop’s prices creeping up all the time, but the greed from this particular branch is obscene. Has a new manager recently taken over and wants to make the most money and win a new mini? That’s what it looks like. I know they’re a charity, but a charity shouldn’t be greedy and clearly wanting to rip off its customers. So I’ll be giving my money to the Dorothy House Bookshop instead.
