Long-standing nonprofit chain with a range of pre-owned clothing, housewares & more.
Big store with a big parking lot and a large selection of items to buy. Very clean and well organized, also has a ramp to access the racks that are a few steps up.
I absolutely adore the staff at this Goodwill. From the donation doors to the floor staff and cashiers I feel that all the staff members are incredibly kind and helpful. I can only assume management does a great job - the team morale seems high. The store is clean and tidy, well organized and they bring out new items quite often. Womens clothing is dominant, however there is some of everything here.
I love this place. Cheaper than most thrift stores I’ve been to, a great variety of clothing and household items. - Their board game section is fantastic, I’ve gotten so many games in great condition for less than $5. - Lots and lots of dishes! Dish sets, mugs, pots, cooking utensils, normal utensils, strainers, frying pans, and more. Price is usually between $1-$4 and most are in perfect condition. - Clothes are nice, I’ve found some great jeans. They have change rooms too! - Great stuffy section! I’ve found HUGE squishamels for less than $8!! (Large tissue box for reference) - I’ve found plenty of other knick-knacks there, my most recent find is a 1.5 foot tall fake orchid which was in almost perfect condition and looks so real you can only tell it’s fake when you touch it! It cost less than $4. Overall, I highly recommend this place!
A good place Usually i find good things Prices are good Clothes have the biggest section of the store. Staff are super friendly Always a good experience shopping here
Update** I returned and can confirm that they do have 2 customer washrooms close to the front entrance. One is out of order but one is better than none. If you have the misfortune of finding and wanting an item that isn’t affixed with a tag, you are out of luck. This happened to me today and at another location recently. The Employee’s are given this policy and have absolutely so mercy. They will just take the item to the back and price it at their convenience. Most likely you will never be able to purchase it. Original review*** I really enjoy shopping at this Goodwill location in Waterloo. There is an abundance of merchandise and most items are priced fairly. There are two levels and a ramp to take the cart from level to level. They offer change rooms but unfortunately I didn’t see any customer bathrooms. I tried to call and confirm but they didn’t answer the phone. The location is great with a large parking lot and good restaurants close by such as the Wildcraft and east side Mario’s. I would recommend this store to my fellow thrifters.
