How to Rate and Review Stores After Your Crawl

When you’re out on a thrift crawl, UrbanThrifter lets you check in at each store, rate your experience, and document your finds. Here’s how.

Check In
When you arrive at a store on your route, open your active crawl and tap the check-in button for that stop. The app confirms your location to make sure you’re actually there — no couch check-ins allowed.

Rate the Store
After checking in, you can leave a 1 to 5 star rating. This is your honest take on the store — was it well organized? Good selection? Fair prices? Your rating contributes to the store’s overall score on UrbanThrifter and helps other thrifters decide where to go.

Snap Your Finds
Found something great? Take a photo right from the check-in screen. Your haul photos are saved with your crawl history and attached to the store. It’s a nice way to remember what you found where — and to show off a little.

Add a Note
You can also leave a short note with your check-in. “Amazing vintage denim section in the back” or “Skip the furniture, but the kitchenware is gold.” These notes help you remember the store and help others know what to expect.

Your Reviews Show Up on the Store
When you rate a store through a crawl check-in, that rating is synced to the store’s listing page. Other users see aggregated ratings from all thrifters who’ve visited, giving every store an honest community score.

Skip a Stop
Not every store works out. If a place is closed when you get there, or you just decide to pass, you can skip the stop and move on. Skipped stops don’t affect your rating and your crawl keeps going.
