Plan Your First Thrift Crawl Route
A thrift crawl is a planned route through multiple thrift stores in a single trip. Think of it like a pub crawl, but for secondhand treasure hunting. UrbanThrifter makes it easy to plan one.
Here’s how to build your first route:
Step 1 — Pick Your City
Head to the Crawl Builder and select a city. You’ll see every thrift store we have listed there, with ratings, hours, and distance from you.
Step 2 — Add Stores
Click stores to add them to your route. You can add as many as you want. We recommend 3 to 6 for a solid half-day crawl.
Step 3 — Set Your Order
Drag and drop to reorder your stops. The map updates in real time so you can see the driving route and estimated travel time between each stop.
Step 4 — Save and Go
Give your crawl a name and save it. You can share it with friends, come back to it later, or start it right away.
During Your Crawl
Once you’re out thrifting, use the active crawl mode to check in at each store, rate your experience, and snap photos of your best finds. Your stats are tracked and badges are earned as you complete more crawls.
That’s it. Pick a city, add some stores, and go find something amazing.
