Goodwill Donation Center in Scottsdale is a solid stop for anyone diving into thrift shopping in the area. As part of the well-known Goodwill chain, this location carries the same reputation for offering a wide range of affordable secondhand items while supporting community programs. If you’ve ever shopped at a Goodwill elsewhere, you know the drill: it’s a place where donated goods get a second life, and the selection can be surprisingly varied. This Scottsdale Goodwill Stores spot is no different.
When you walk in, you’re likely to find a mix of used clothing that runs the gamut from casual basics to some vintage gems. Besides apparel, the store typically has furniture pieces that are perfect for anyone on the hunt for affordable home accents or practical household items. You’ll also spot housewares, books, and sometimes even electronics. The variety means it’s easy to spend a good amount of time browsing, especially if you enjoy the little thrill of spotting something unique or useful tucked on a shelf.
Scottsdale Goodwill Stores tends to attract people who appreciate sustainable shopping as much as those who want to stretch their budget. The rotating inventory means you can swing by regularly and discover new finds. It’s worth mentioning that this location benefits from Goodwill’s larger mission: your purchases help fund job training and other community efforts, which adds a feel-good factor to every thrift run here. For anyone serious about secondhand shopping in Scottsdale, this donation center is a dependable and accessible option.

Nice to have a donation center today or open 7 days a week until 7pm each night
Great opportunity to donate. Scottsdale location is easy to find and the process is quick as attendants meet you outside and remove donations from your vehicle if you prefer. Plus, you receive a receipt for tax purposes.
Came out to the car and picked up items. Great help!
**UPDATE** For social distancing you can now drop your items in the bins outside by the parking spots and take a receipt with no contact. There are still staff on hand to help with larger items if you need.*** See the title--donation center! The pictures are misleading. There is no store here. This is an awesome donation center with a great staff. They are always ready with a rolling bin to take your donations straight from your car. There are dedicated parking spots for you and it is so easy to clean out your closets/garages and repurpose your unused but good condition items. I go at least once a month and they are always so helpful and friendly.
I have visited this donation center multiple times over the last sixty days, but I will not return. Unlike other locations, the experience here is consistently poor. The two staff members make the process uncomfortable, insisting that donors ask permission before dropping items. Often, the employees remain inside on mobile devices or smoke outside rather than assisting. Because of the lack of help, the center functions like a self-serve drop-off. I prefer donating elsewhere where the staff is professional and the process is straightforward.
