If you’re in Tucson and getting into thrift shopping, the Goodwill Donation Center is a staple to check out. As part of the larger Goodwill Stores chain, this location keeps up that reputation for consistently bringing in a broad selection of used clothing, furniture, housewares, and even books. It’s a solid go-to for anyone wanting to explore secondhand goods without wandering through scattered spots.
What makes Goodwill stand out in Tucson thrift circles is that it’s not just about clothes. You can find vintage pieces mixed in with everyday apparel. Plus, the furniture section often has some well-kept pieces that could easily fit into a variety of home styles. The housewares aisle is pretty dependable for snagging kitchen gadgets, décor, and practical items. There’s something satisfying about digging through these shelves and spotting a brand or item you recognize but at a fraction of the price.
Tucson Goodwill Stores also have a steady rotation of donations, which keeps the inventory fresh. You could stop by multiple times a month and still come across a different lineup of goods. It’s one of those places where the thrill of thrift shopping meets the practicality of finding what you need. Plus, supporting Goodwill means backing their job training and employment programs, which adds a meaningful layer to every purchase. In a city like Tucson, where thrift shopping is a popular way to make style and living more affordable, Goodwill’s Donation Center is a reliable anchor in that scene.

Workers have always been friendly and the hours are great.
Hats off to these great folk that toil away here day in and day out without end in this incredibly busy location! I'm exhausted just thinking about them attempting to deal with the sheer volume of donations endlessly piling up outside from the front, around the side, and even including all the way out back on occasion! Thanks go out to EACH of you for your self-appointed roles in fighting the good fight that we've had this past year, & thanks to our most giving & thoughtful neighbors here in the area for each & every awesome donation that ceaselessly pour straight out of your lives and into the capable hands of these wonderful charity workers to help others with! As I sit here and write this you all fill me up with such HOPE, and I REALLY NEED THAT AT TIMES! THANK YOU! IT MATTERS! :-)
First time at this location and was a little confused about what the process was. The gentleman working was busy loading a truck, but took the time to friendly acknowledge us and tell us where to drop our donations. Super quick and breezy process!
Manny was very helpful when I made a large donation two weeks ago. I had tried to make the same donation several days before, and the attendant was rude and refused to help me transfer the material from my car. I left then and returned later in the week and was lucky enough to encounter Manny whose interpersonal skills are excellent and has an outstanding attitude. Please share this review to the management.
Got here around 4:45 with an armful of donations; door locked. Attendant is in the back moving boxes around. I knock on the door, and wait for at least a minute before knocking again; he still does not come to the front. I knock more loudly and wait...and wait some more. I knock a third time after about 5 minutes had elapsed. Finally he comes and opens the door, says nothing while looking at me blankly. I hand him the donations, and he turns away and closes the door without a word. Never again. From now on, I'll take my donations to some other organization.
