Today 1/30/25 was a fantastic visit, look at all the designer items I found today! The store manager here, has the beat personality!
This location is my favorite of all Goodwills! The clothes, furniture, shoes, decor are all amazing! I always find something when I come here. If you love vintage pieces for decor, they have a cute selection. I found some new boots here, perfect for fall. I found so many tops that I can't wait to use for the cold weather. Also, BRENDA WILLIAMS is the nicest person! She asked me to take a survey and she walked me through it and was so patient. I did it for her tbh lol Also, while shopping she checked on me to see if I needed anything. I love this location!
I want to share my experience so others are aware of the return policy. I made a purchase at a Goodwill location in Houston and was told at checkout that I could return the item at a Goodwill in Corpus Christi if needed. That turned out to be incorrect. When I later called to confirm, I spoke with a manager named Steven, and he was not able to confirm cross-city returns until after I explained the situation. For anyone shopping there you cannot return a Houston purchase at a Goodwill outside of the Houston area. Make sure you’re certain about your purchase or able to return it to the same region. Just hoping this helps prevent confusion for someone else.
This was my local thrift that I've visited weekly for years. Prices keep getting higher, and they took out the fitting rooms. They're so understaffed you have to hunt down an employee to get checked out or there's a long line every time, and the store is filthy. The "color of the week" discount is non-existent. Anything decent is marked up to retail/ebay prices. With so many excellent thrift stores in Houston that are church-run or actual nonprofits who help the community, there is no reason to go to goodwill anymore. it used to be a good thrift chain but they've been ruined by greed and mismanagement.
The prices keep skyrocketing, guess the CEO’s car needs an upgrade. Their greediness is disgusting, the items of horrendous quality are marked with prices that are less if you buy it new from many outlets. Attitude of the staff is awful and the last but not least, they got rid of their fitting rooms but LUCKILY we can return items for STORE CREDIT (awwww how generous of them!) but only within 7 days of purchase. Since I have some things that I tried at home and they didn’t fit, I will have to return them and once I have used all my store credit to buy what I need, I promise myself to never ever step foot in to this place again!!!
