Things seemed clean and there was a lot of stuff to look at and pick through. Goodwill stores in the valley have gotten pricey, but I guess prices have gone up everywhere. I found a few good bargains, items with prices I could live with. There were a lot of people in line when I went to check out. People couldn't seem to decide how to line up and where the end of the line was. Thankfully they opened another register and cleared us all out of there.
I go to this location quite often and my experiences vary. Most of the time it is interesting to to look at the different options but there is not a guarantee to find something good, it can be very hit or miss.
Well for starters the 1 cashier is quite inefficient especially when there's a line. Then we watched a guy walk out with his arms full of merchandise. A kids shirt from a retail store originally $3.98...Goodwill priced @$4.99. C'mon you can do better!! When a 2nd cashier came she was going to take #7 in line instead of ME, #2 that had been waiting for 6+ minutes. Just frustrating the entire visit. Plus the store was a mess.
I don't leave reviews very often, but this is pretty irritating. 80% of their store is clothes yet you can't try them on. To try them on you have to buy them but if they don't fit and you return them, you don't get your money back. You get store credit. Which they did not tell me and I only found out after I looked at the receipt. Pretty crazy! If they would at least give you your money back then I would continue to try to buy clothes to see if they fit but because I can't get my money back it makes no sense. I'm not going to build up a huge credit at Goodwill. They have permanently lost my business and will not go back unfortunately. And I'm sure have lost a lot of business selling clothes and will continue to.
I experienced an unfair situation yesterday at Goodwill at this location I found a toddler's top at the store & several other little items. By a cashier I was told that I can't have this top because the code was ripped off, there might be pants which were together with it, but I didn't see any & didn't separate the set, but the price was still there, & the price was $2 ish dollars ($2.29 or $2.49). I said that I want to buy this top anyway (my child has a themed week at her preK, & that top fit for her today's topic). Cashier also told me that I am not supposed to take clothes out of hangers, which non of other goodwills had that rule before. Anyway, I remember for sure that the price was $2 something as I looked at the tag attached to that top. Also I calculated roughly what my total should be, and it came out to around $11. When cashier came back from the manager, she totaled my items & it came out to more than $14, which I thought was strange but I needed to go home as was late & were people behind me waiting as well. At home I looked at the new tag on the top & now it says $5.49. I decided to stop by the store next morning to find out why price was changed & why I wasn't told they changed it. I talked to assistant manager, who wasn't taking part of this situation & couldn't help. Yesterday I took the tag off as I needed to wash the top for my kid to put it on today, and I wasn't going to return the top, just want to be treated fair. Since the manager Andrea wasn't at the store in the morning today (Wednesday 12/17/25), I called at 4pm when her work day started. She remembers the situation, and she told me that cashier brought her the top with $5.49 tag, and she only reprinted it with the code. That is not true as as I mentioned already, I looked at the tag while we were discussing with cashier this sale & I totaled my items before she scanned everything. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo of the original tag, if I knew this would happened, of course I would. And this review not to get my money back, even it's a lot for just a toddler top, but I don't like to be fooled and being told that what I saw isn't true.
