Give Shemita a raise! I called twice and both times someone manually ended my call. Came inside and found a dude right at the counter at the brink of falling asleep with his eyes completely closed slouching. I work in customer service myself and know sometimes timings make you look bad but that kind of felt lame knowing my calls were just being ignored. I was infuriated and intended on dropping a 1 star but Shemita was extremely hospitable, kind, and went out of her way to help me with some really heavy stuff even though she had no obligation to. I am extremely grateful to her.
I come here every week! Overall, it's pretty good! The service is good! The place is clean! And you can even buy some nice things if you have time! The only downside is that the prices are too high! I also often donate items! I think the prices should be lowered a bit!
Good choices, your typical thrift store. Was doing fine until check out. Sales Rep DAVID with an attitude didn’t want to give my mother the military discount because apparently since I’m the one serving active duty, I have to have a separate account for it in order to get military discount. I wasn’t understanding why that’s the case and was asking how to add it, he started talking slow like English is my second language.
The Goodwill on 9385 W Flamingo Rd was a mess!! After being in there just for a few minutes gave me anxiety!! It’s sooo disgusting & crowded & cluttered. The carts are everywhere.. and they continue to put clothes out a cart barely fit in the aisle. It’s hard for wheelchairs or someone in the legally blind community such as myself to move around. The prices are VERY expensive-selling DEPARTMENT STORE prices. When did this goodwill get sooo greedy?!? THEY GET THIS STUFF FOR FREE!! The managers were talking about other employees in front of customers. They need more in service classes or as they call it coaching!! The dressing rooms were a mess!! The entire store needs a bath!! You can smell the neglect of the bathrooms. This Goodwill show their greed by how many items they push out I know I said this already. But it’s true. All this Goodwill has to do is retrain their managers bc great customer service trickles down. And clean the place up. But I will not be back
11/01/25 The employees here are easily frustrated, angered, rude, very short fused this is not safe for customers. Telling a customer they are trespassing for asking a question especially for not causing any problem of such explains their mental state and it’s not ok. Asking a question to your employees (manager) should not result to anger/mental distress and because it did it’s very concerning. Why would I want to shop here and not know if your employees will have outburst of anger or mental distress over asking a question. Please really consider this. This location no longer feels safe. Having employees (manager) with anger issues, telling me they remember me from a previous time from me asking about a price is very unstable and uncomfortable. Telling me I’m always causing problems when I hardly go to this location. I really thought the manager had me mentally confused with someone else. Who denies a service to someone over me asking about a price on a previous day. Why would you remember someone like that. I believe she became highly upset over me asking and grew angry on me. Especially when i was respectful and calm when I did ask, wasn’t a big deal but to her it was when she stated “I remember you”. I was really confused and shocked when she said that. Like scary. She even sat there and tried to argue with me but it being 9 am in the morning who expects this type of mental behavior. Very concerning. I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at Goodwill. The staff were extremely rude and treated me unfairly when I simply asked about a price on a previous day. The manager took offense to my question and told me she remembered me from the other day, spoke to me in a very unprofessional manner, and told me I could no longer come to back. Asking questions is not an argument, it’s a right. This type of behavior is unacceptable and very offensive. It felt like they were intentionally trying to deny me service without any valid reason. This matter will be fully handled and reported, as no customer deserves to be treated in this manner. Everything Goodwill stands for at this location and its employees service does not. I understand their situations but customer service is highly lacking, please trained them on their anger management and customer service asking a simple question should not result to outburst of anger thinking someone is attacking them for asking and resulting to them telling your customers to not come back and considered trespassing. What’s trespassing is citizens supporting non profit providing training, job, and education for employees to not gain the benefit and display their issues like anger management onto innocent customers. I should not have to feel mistreated by any one Goodwill choses to service with their programs. Having your Goodwill employees outburst with anger is unacceptable and unsafe. No level of sudden outburst of anger should result from asking a question. I was very calm and respectful when I asked any questions so resulting to sudden anger is completely unacceptable.
