I visited this location while I was in town attending a Carlos Santana concert; I brought jeans to wear but then changed my mind & wanted some black dress pants to wear instead so my cousin brought me here. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by multiple staff & what was most refreshing about the vibe of the store is...music🎵 🎶 was playing & staff + customers were engaging w/each other singing along, having a good time & enjoying the interaction. Lamont which I will refer to as a "back-up singer," "Salesman extraordainer" & "Comedian"...was able to convince my cousin that her browsing their jewelry selection & choosing @ LEAST 5 pair of new earrings to purchase WAS A GREAT IDEA?! 🤦🏽🥹I tried to tell her she didn't need those 😤 but this employee's personality & humor made us laugh until we ALL were crying...as he put on his sales pitch-the sales pitch alone, was worth the price of the five pair of earrings $$=PRICELESS😆😅😂🤣😁 (AND YES...she bought all of them!😐) If I lived in Las Vegas I probably would frequent this store, just because it's a great place to go even if you don't buy anything; you can't find a vibe like this in too many places in our country anymore!
This is one of the cleanest and organized Goodwills I've been to in Nevada so far. The lighting was bright so you were able to easily see all the items and if they're stained or damaged. This larger location (because they're not sharing the store space with other shopping mall stores) was more stocked and their selection was overwhelming. Customers were happy, humming along to the music until the Goodwill recorded announcements came on. My 90 year old mom & I came on Gold Members Wednesday, which means anyone over 55 gets an additional 20% off the entire store, making it 40%. She doesn't have much in savings, so this is a blessing, and she told me she was surprised she was able to stand & shop for 2 hours straight because it was so much fun & exciting. She didn't enjoy the Amazon Bins but loved this shopping experience. There was a pro & con that happens at all Goodwills i've seen. The con is the long lines over 2 dozen customers, and only 2 workers at the register. It didn't help that we had over 30 clothing items ourselves to be scanned, & the credit card machine was down for 5 minutes. (OMG, if looks could kill, those customers gave me nonstop looks) Ok, the PRO is the lady at the register. Her name is ALCENIA (or is it ALCENA) She was awesome the whole time processing my mom's order, smiling, being polite talking to my mom. My mom said she felt welcomed at this store & wants to come back soon. Customer Service is very rare now because not that Covid is over, people are grumpy they can't work from home anymore, but Alcenia was oozing the happiness aura, which is very addictive which makes customers feel at ease. Thanks to the Goodwill at Westwind Road in Las Vegas!
This store has very nice employees that are helpful. The store is clean and organized. The music they play is inviting to sing along with while shopping.
I was recently at Steinberg Medical Imagine next to this Goodwill. I Love to find All kinds of items I Need for a Bargain so I went in. Compared to about 90% of others THIS Goodwill was Wonderful! They were Full of Everything from Pots & Pans, Silverware, Glassware to the Clothing of Kids to Adults & Even New Items! The Staff even Offered to Help Me "Dig Out" a LG. Steaming Pot & Skillet & I didn't Even Ask! It was Clean Air Conditioned & Great Prices! My #1 Surprise was a Lack of Tech. Items. They may have been bought out but that was the Only area where I Noticed that. I 💯% Recommend this Goodwill Highly! 👍😁
recently visited your store and I would like to share some feedback. The store is very clean, and the employees are friendly and helpful. However, I had a very unpleasant experience with the store manager. The manager was extremely rude, dismissive, and unwilling to assist with a customer concern. No matter how politely I tried to explain the issue, she showed no interest in helping and simply responded that she could not do anything. This type of attitude is very frustrating, especially coming from someone in a leadership position. I have also spoken with several employees who expressed similar concerns, but they seem afraid to speak up. The store has great potential because the staff is hardworking and respectful, but the manager’s behavior creates a negative environment for both customers and employees. I hope this matter can be addressed to ensure a better experience for everyone.
